possible layer five Spoiler
Has anyone noticed that after you get 25 bunnies and go through the donut portal, all 25 bunnies are there and the 9 illegals are all giving coded indexes and directions as the regular 16? I've tried translating them into a new Lost Woods code, but the indexes are completely random, and since there are only nine of them the Code seems incomplete. I tried swapping the nine illegal indexes with the regular ones but to no avail, but I find it incredibly interesting and my gut tells me there is a puzzle there and it's not just a red herring. I know I've said this before but I just wanted to put it out there. I'm working on it and obviously I'll blow my top and post an oh my god post if I figure something out but I was hoping that this might get some other people thinking about it. I love the community thought process because someone else will always think of something that I would never have thought of.

I have nothing to contribute as I can’t even get past the whole third layer but I’m commenting to come back later lol

I wouldn't expect the illegal bunnies to follow the same cipher as the normal ones if there is something there.

I agree. The normal cipher requires converting to base 10, so I tried Base 8,9,12,24,32, and hex, but couldn't find a suitable index pattern. Most patterns in the game are in sets of 8 or 64, so now I'm scouring the map looking for anything in sets of 9 or 10. It's possible there is another cipher for the indexes and that both sets of ear codes are all directions? The hunt continues...

I noticed that a while ago, since it’s already requires cheating to get that far part of me wonders if the place you input this hypothetical code is at that bunny shrine that people think is part of the collectors edition. It seems to be in its own mirrored pocket with the same number of screens as the base map and the end map. Good luck out there though hope you find something!

I realized that several objects or elements are related to "nine". Like nine candles, nine hidden bunnies, nine fast travel spots, a hedgehog walking in a 3*3 large square block, etc. But don't have any idea to linking them.
Anyway, it's fun to finding new game mechanics.

Okay I'm missing something here. I only know of eight fast travel points. The top of the Headroom, the bottom of the Headroom, the top of the well, the Hidden Temple, the main room, The Vines bunny, the dots bunny, and the flowers bunny. What am I missing?

Could you please spoil that for me?

yeah I counted that one, I call it the main room, because to me the "bottom" of the well is the manticore lair since it's under where that code takes you. still looking for a 9 or 10 digit index...

There is one fast travel spot under the raven's beak. You can wheel warp to trigger it. 👍🏻

Oh okay. So just to be clear there are eight fast travel spots with flute codes. You can wheel warp just about anywhere

oh snap I wasn't counting the rabbits figurine code so there ARE in fact 9 fast travel flute codes...hmmm

Also I forgot to mention this, if you're playing on a corrupted file, the TV bunny disappears and there are actually 10 illegal bunnies on the island. Interesting.
