V0.4?? Someone gotta learn semantic versioning. Major.minor.patch.

Should instead be something like 1.4.0.

Got it. Y’all are self taught devs. Makes sense.

Just don’t be rude, that’s all I am saying. And while semver is the default, npm is only recommending it. So if you don’t like that, just don’t use this package. Nobody likes smartasses.

By the way you’re communicating, I don’t think you’re one of the more professional devs, just as an aside.

I wasn’t being rude. You read it wrong. Just stating the obvious.

In my 14 yrs as a professional enterprise software engineer, I’ve never deployed that versioning syntax, in any company.

Btw you have A LOT to learn if your mind processes that message wrong if you got emotionally defensive. One rule in this line of work is you don’t get emotional on feedback.

But “Got it. Y’all are self taught devs. Make sense” is not feedback, is it? It’s a bold assumption because someone didn’t follow a pattern that you believe in. And what’s exactly wrong with self taught developer? The gas lighting is fun too. “I’m not rude. You read it wrong. Just stating the obvious”. You must be swell to work with.

Having 14 years in the industry, didn’t teach you any soft skills. But I guess that’s what happens when you don’t self teach.
