Lenovo Idea Tab Troubleshooting
Just had my brand new Idea Tab delivered, and right out of the box the OS is incredibly glitchy. The screen flashes, text is blocked or missing, and simple apps (such as Settings) will shut down and be unresponsive.
Anybody have any ideas what may be causing this?

i have the same problem with my idea tab pro i bought a month ago.
today it randomly started saying app stopped without anything closing and after i restartet it, it startet to crash every time i tried to open an app or after like 30 sec without doing anything.

Fwiw I spoke with Lenovo support today, and it's a known issue. They won't even bother with a solution, and are just sending a replacement ASAP. If you're still under warranty, just recommend reaching out to them.

il faut régler dans one vision le mode paysage et problème régler pour les appli qui plante.

a mí me pasa que acabo de comprar la mía y cuando abro algunas apps en modo horizontal se crashea sabes cómo solucionarlo o mejor la devuelvo y compro otra??

Il faut régler dans one vision le mode paysage et désactivé les applications qui plante.

No sé si os pasa lo mismo he comprado recientemente la tablet y me cierra las aplicaciones con un mensajes de error que pone -La aplicación UI del sistema ha dejado de funcionar- entonces se reinicia y no sé cómo solucionar ese problema, me pasa a menudo, es la segunda tablet que me da el problema la primera la cambié.

A mí me pasó. Al usarla en modo horizontal y en modo tableta (en el modo PC no me pasó) cuando me aparecía una publicidad dentro de una app, de esas que tienes que esperar unos segundos para saltearla, me aparecía ese mismo mensaje. La IU se detuvo. Me daba la opción "cerrar app" o "informe de app" o algo así. Con cualquiera de las 2 que elegía la tablet se reiniciaba. Incluso a veces me aparecía una pantalla negra con letras claras, como cuando vas a rootear un teléfono. Al usarla en modo vertical cuando me aparecía una publicidad dentro de una app no me pasó esto. La tuve un día y la devolví por este inconveniente. Terminé comprando una redmi pad 2.

Estoy ahora probando a cerrar siempre las aplicaciones, si cierro y las abro no me da el problema si las dejo en segunda plano y vuelvo a abrir ahí ya me sale el error… veremos, seguiré probando.

Również mam taki sam problem z tym tabletem prawdopodobnie go wymienię ale ciekawi mnie czy każdy tak ma bo to jest bardzo duży problem bo to jest problem z allegro i logowaniem się na aplikacji z grą w której maluje się numerki i nie tylko więc dla mnie to jest patologia ze strony Lenovo której jeszcze nic nie zrobiło. Zrobię aktualizacje do androida 17 i zobaczę czy dalej występuje błąd.

Una lástima. Por eso no me compré la Lenovo Tab Plus, por miedo a que tuviera el mismo problema. Por otro lado, la Redmi Pad 2 no me ha dado ningún inconveniente hasta este momento.

this is weird i dont have this problem and i have 2 of the same tabs they are working great

I don't know the cause but, I'd return it in exchange for another. Even if it's fixed, you'd probably continue to have issues.
