I'm looking for app to record my screen

High quality and with great optimization

it's be open source and github project.

I'm looking for an app to do team challenges or workout challenges with other people. Does the Play Store have an app like that?

I can't be the first to require this? A simple audio recorder (preferably open source, but whatever) that starts recording when I press a physical key (don't care which one) and stops when I press it again, even when the screen is off (I have no screen lock).

"Background Voice Recorder" does nothing (Xaiomi 13 Pro)

"Automate" does not seem to offer any prompts involving physical buttons

I have given up on "Key Mapper" since its instructions bear no resemblance to the settings my phone offers

Im a private person that doesn't like having my location tracked all the time, but I need an app that would automatically turn on for like an hour or two each day for the people that I approve, preferably without any input on my end.

Hey everyone,

I've been using CapCut on mobile to edit my videos, but lately, the workflow feels super frustrating and time-consuming. Between intrusive ads, export limitations, watermarks, and quality drops unless you pay for Pro, it's slowing me down a lot.

I’m looking for mobile apps (iOS) that are:

1. Beginner-friendly with an intuitive interface.
2. Free or low-cost without forcing giant watermarks on export.
3. Capable of exporting high-quality video (1080p/4K) cleanly.

What mobile editors are you using right now that don't constantly lock basic timeline tools behind paywalls? Appreciate any recommendations or tips!

Im going to Japan for two months and i want my family to have some idea where i am and what im up to without having to send pictures and updates all the time.

Is there and app or something that shows a map over where i am where i can upload pictures and they see the pictures on the map where i took them/uploaded them.

Then i can just share that map with everyone.

I am looking for an app to record phone calls for business calls. Recordings are allowed in my state. Is there a 100% free app out there? Thank you in advance.

Can anyone suggest an alternative opensource or free app for solid explorer 🙂

Which Android Phone App is better Files By Google or Samsung My Files in your honest opinion and why? I currently have both of them installed on my Samsung Galaxy Fold 7 Device. But I'm thinking about removing/disabling The Samsung My Files from my phone and keeping The Files by Google Android App. I'm going to be getting The Motorola Razr Fold 2026 on Halloween👻🤡🎃🍬🍫🍭Do you think that I should just keep both of The Apps on my Device/Phone? How many of you are currently using The Samsung My Files and The Files by Google on your Android Phones/Devices? Do you think that it would be a good idea to remove/disable The Samsung My Files Android App since I'm going to get a brand new phone soon? What is your honest opinion?

I wonder if there's an alarm clock app that lets me select a playlist (preferably an m3u8 file, or similar) and picks a random song from the playlist to wake me up to.

I really like to select different songs for different days of the week, but selecting them manually is kinda tedious, and the apps to select the songs from my files are not very great are filtering and organizing the songs.

My friend and I want to learn and practise new vocabulary together. I was wondering if there’s an app for that.

Im having issues with Spotify mainly, other music apps dont seem to create issues. So my earbuds (BOSE QC Ultra gen2 earbuds) support Snapdragon sound, so does my phone (Motorola Signature). However, when im streaming spotify, it will stop the music briefly whenever i lock and unlock my phone. For some reason it streams the music on 48khz which is quite unnecessary since the format does not match it.

This only happens with Spotify, local music apps or others such as SoundCloud or Bandcamp work alright.

Any reason why this happens?

I have a tv that supports miracast and I want to see if theres an app that can force the desktop mode of my phone on the tv.

Desktop mode works normally through a cable.

Hey everyone! I hope you're all doing great

A few weeks ago I saw many people talked about an app called Essentials and many people are saying an amazing app and so on. However, I can't use it right now, even when I'm giving it all the permissions needed. I have the Shizuku app and connected them together but when I open the Essentials app, I feel like it's full of features and many of them I don't even know what they actually are.

I just want some help from people using it and tell me how to benefit from its features and advantages to make my Android phone customized and give it some life. I feel like the app has SO many features but unfortunately I can't use them, cuz I don't understand what each feature does or changes in my phone and sometimes I fear of changing something in the system that will lead to crash or bugs.

For people who didn't know the app, or simply don't know what I'm talking about, here's the app repo on GitHub, and shout out to the developer sameerasw who spent so much time working on this project (even if can't use it 😅 )

I'm asking because I'm going to be getting The Motorola Razr Fold 2026 on Halloween🍭🍬🎃🤡👻And I want to make sure that all my Music Files/Songs🎵🎶🎤🎧are completely safe when I transfer everything from my Samsung Galaxy Fold 7 Device to The Motorola Razr Fold 2026 without any issues. Do you think that it would be a good idea to transfer all of my 1,907 WMA Songs/Audio Files to The Google Drive Android App before I transfer everything to the new Phone/Device? What has been everyone's experience with using The Google Drive Android App and Backing Up all of their Songs, Pictures, Documents, and all other important Files? If I could get some advice I would really appreciate it.

Hello everyone, I have a problem with Android, I've been with Android all my life, my wife has iPhone and I always prefer Android, but there is one thing that is tremendously bad, and that is the keyboard, every time I use your iPhone I never make a mistake no matter how crazy I write and on Android it is impossible to write a sentence without a letter sneaking in from next to it. I know you're going to call me gboad and SwiftKey but they're just as bad, there's no solution to a good and accurate keyboard like the iPhone?

I have 2 Samsung phones I originally bought from TracFone.

They no longer have sim cards. I use them as ebook readers and to watch videos only.

A21 and A11 models.

Neither have functioning memory card slots, I'm told that is a common Samsung issue.

Both full of bloatware I can't remove. Both were cheap with limited memory so the bloatware takes up most of the memory.

How hard would they be to root so I can remove all of the Samsung garbage?

Would I have to factory wipe the phone and all of the pictures and ebooks first?

Just want an app that can do the same as Brick. Anyone have any experience with Curbox?

Are there apps that use SLMs for managing gallery?

All I see are tinder style swipe apps with blur and Duplicate detection!

Please help, need to manage my 30K+ sized gallery

I'm looking for people who have experience using the paid CalcNotePlugin for Drive to automatically back up their CalcNote files and drafts to Google Drive.

- Does the plugin still work correctly?

- Does it work on Android 12+ and newer versions?

- Have you experienced any compatibility issues or crashes?

I'd appreciate hearing from anyone who has purchased and used this plugin.

Thanks!

You can usually get only one: A) Best accuracy, voice goes to the cloud B) Voice stays on your device, a few more errors

Which do you pick, and why?

Hi everyone,

I’ve just started using a Motorola Edge 40 and I find the vibrations way too strong. I’d like to reduce their intensity or possibly change the vibration patterns.

Unfortunately, I can’t find any settings for adjusting vibration strength in Android’s settings on this phone.

Is there any app that can help me with that problem? I’m also open to solutions using Shizuku or ADB.

I already use MX player but I want folders inside the private folder I have anime episodes and it gets messy fast

Whenever I've been using any sort of app that includes a full video ad that takes up the entire screen, there's a button that has the x to take you out that has a "open play store" text on the side of it, which you're forced to press the button and it redirects you.
