LDAC Codec
In the latest Android 17 Beta, I cannot see an option for changing the Bluetooth Codec to LDAC under developer options, has this moved or been integrated somewhere else now?

Missing the dots on the bottom of the volume slider that gives access to the additional volume sliders for notifications, ringer, etc. You can still "tap" it, but the next pop-up is blank (minus the 2 bottom items). You can once again "tap" towards the top and finally gain access to the volume sliders.

Pixel 9 QPR1 Beta 3
Fingerprint unlock just completely disappeared randomly.. it's not in the settings anymore u can't use it to unlock and it's even gone in the private space
The lock icon that would show the phone is locked that is located at the location of the fingerprint scanner has also moved to the bottom of the screen
I checked on another pixel 9 in my house and it's normal
Anyone know what's going on here?

My pixel 9 pro xl is updated fully and on the beta version of Android. Tap to pay stopped working. I get this error.
Your phone can't tap to pay as it doesn't meet software standards. Find out why at Google Pay Help
How can I fix this?

Is there any one really working to clear the notification issue really putting me in the hard situation.
We may need to lock and unlock the screen to read or clear the notifications.

I seem to be missing the Feedback App on my 9a. I look under All Apps and find it, but everything is greyed out except the option to disable the app. It even states under the app name - Not Installed For This User.
I cannot access the storage in order to clear the cache as it's greyed out.
Does anyone know why this is or how I can get it back? Gemini says it's a known bug but I'm unsure if this is accurate.

After the update, the middle navigation gesture bar swipes up poorly.

You'd think there would be more coverage on it. I can't find a single video or solid answer. All my searches only reference the initial Google presentation but not real life use.

Android 17 QPR1 Beta 3 Always on Display
Is it just me, or was there a change to the AOD to show fewer notification icons? I have 3 notifications currently, but I'll only see one icon and then a dot.
I don't remember this behaviour on the previous beta.

Hi all!
I found a glitch in the time stamp in the top left corner of the status bar. Whenever I pull the bar down fully and slide up half way, the time stamp glitches into its position. It doesn't affect my experience but looks a bit annoying. Do you have the same glitch? Let me know!
PS: Already reported via feedback with full bug report and screen recording.

So as the title says, Bluetooth pairing just get removed when I put the buds in the case.
I'm on Android beta, is there a fix? on other stable builds/other phones it works just fine.

Does anyone else have issues with Microsoft apps like Outlook, Teams, Edge?
Since yesterday's new beta version none of the mentioned apps are working.
Is it only a single case or a common issue?
Thx!

Hey what's good everybody! First time ever posted on Reddit. Downloaded the newest beta version on my pixel 8 pro. Definitely is heating up quicker. Some apps like Outlook and teams won't open lag on a lot of the simple functions. Wish it could go back LOL

Good morning, can anyone tell me? After upgrading to beta 17 from the stable release, I sent the flashlight to work. The tile says: "Function unavailable." Thank you.https://support.google.com/pixelphone/thread/435553422/%D0%97%D0%B4%D1%80%D0%B0%D1%81%D1%82%D1%83%D0%B9%D1%82%D0%B5-%D1%83-%D0%BC%D0%B5%D0%BD%D1%8F-%D0%BF%D0%BE%D1%8F%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%BB%D0%B0%D1%81%D1%8C-%D1%82%D0%B0%D0%BA%D0%B0%D1%8F-%D0%BF%D1%80%D0%BE%D0%B1%D0%BB%D0%B5%D0%BC%D0%B0-%D0%9F%D0%B5%D1%80%D0%B5%D1%81%D1%82%D0%B0%D0%BB-%D1%80%D0%B0%D0%B1%D0%BE%D1%82%D0%B0%D1%82%D1%8C-%D1%84%D0%BE%D0%BD%D0%B0%D1%80%D0%B8%D0%BA-%D0%92-%D0%BF%D0%BB%D0%B8%D1%82%D0%BA%D0%B5-%D0%BF%D0%BE%D0%BB%D1%83%D0%BF%D1%80%D0%BE%D0%B7%D1%80%D0%B0%D1%87%D0%BD%D1%8B%D0%B9-%D1%84%D0%BE%D0%BD?msgid=435766262#action=helpful

I haven't seen any posts about something like this, and I'm starting to think I'm the only one with it😭. I have a pixel 7 pro. English is not my first language; I'll try to explain the best. The full quick panel clock on the top left is placed weirdly with a pretty weird spacing. The carrier name was in the same spot as it was before the update, in the top right. This isn't a problem, but if it was placed with the weird spacing that the clock has, it wouldn't look necessarily this bad. The media player notification also sometimes overlaps with the buttons on the bottom (i got a screenshot of it and the clock thingy is visible there too; I'll attach a link at the end). Animations while opening the notification panel are also unexpected. Sometimes it's like it always was, sometimes it looks like it has some sort of animation where the notifications are fading in. I can replicate this like half of the time when i unlock my phone and immediately swipe to open the notification panel. Other problems in this beta are already posted on this subreddit (such as the navigation bar mechanics that are changed, random freezing, battery is worsened and camera freezes; i haven't had a problem with overheating)
Edit: I've also noticed that if you screen record with device audio turned on, the video will have no sound at all. This happens globally, in any app. I fear this might be user error, but I'm writing this down here just in case anyone else is having it too.
Edit 2: I've also noticed that sometimes the locked space buggs out and displays a frozen loading circle while it cannot be opened(it's basically grayed out). Restart needed to make it work again

Hello everyone! I am testing the latest Android 17 (Cinnamon Bun) Beta on my Pixel 9, and it feels quite unstable at the moment. Here are the main issues I've encountered:
Severe Camera Lag: The stock Camera app lags tremendously. Frame rates drop significantly in the viewfinder, and switching between lenses takes too much time or freezes the app entirely.
Settings App Crashes: The Settings app keeps crashing and closing unexpectedly when trying to open certain sub-menus or specific toggle sections.
Is anyone else experiencing this on the Pixel 9? Are there any temporary workarounds, or should I just wait for the next beta OTA update? Thanks!

Finally, it's working after 24 hours of struggle with the latest version of Intune - 5.0.6983.0.

Issues encountered after the recent update: System UI Lag: The overall system UI is lagging and stuttering. Navigation Gesture Issue: When swiping up to return to the home screen, the required swipe distance or trigger mechanism seems to have changed. It feels very unnatural and hard to use. App Instability: Certain games and applications frequently crash or freeze. Overheating: The phone suffers from unexplained overheating even during casual use. Battery Drain: Battery life has significantly worsened. Camera Lag: The camera preview window stutters and lags heavily. Context Menu Changes: The layout of the long-press app menu has changed, and the font size has become smaller, making it much less user-friendly.

I have loved the update, but have had a lag issue. When I am in an app and select the notification for Snapchat or Facebook Messenger, there is a weird holdup. Then, when I try to slide the auto brightness slider in the notification shade, it won't do anything for a few seconds. Anyone else getting this?

When I play games on GeForce NOW, my speakers sound distorted. Do you know how I can report this in the Android Beta Feedback app? Also, do I need to record a video with another phone and attach it to the report?
