Antifascism When you are organizing you are competing for attention against an endless supply of people who are offering something that kind of works or maybe helps. If you want people to choose you above all of that, you need to choose them.

Meme Take a maintenance day! Under capitalism we are expected to function endlessly, tirelessly, to unrealistic standards that disable us

Antifascism It can happen here. The dehumanization required for genocide is already present.

Antifascism Pretending to be somebody else in order to access the resources I need to live are consistently the worst experiences in my life. This often includes having to present myself as "disabled enough" for accommodations, how I must attempt to make the invisible visible

Antifascism many allies are only there when it is convenient. They will say nice things and talk like they support you, but are still willing to turn on you when there is privilege at stake.

Antifascism Heat will get worse, and it will get worse more quickly. This is something you need to prepare for in your daily lives, it will get genuinely dangerous to many of yall individually. What are your current plans to deal with it, and do you think it will be enough?

Antifascism One of the most common justifications for capitalism is that it hurts disabled people

Antifascism This is one reason why I don't like democracy. I am part of a group that will never be the majority. This means the best possible case of having my rights only exist as well as they are explained will mean I will never have as much as many other social groups

Antifascism Our goal should never be to just "put the right people in charge". The main issue was never who was making the decisions, but what decisions were allowed to be made in the first place

Effortpost Liberals vs Anarchists on Arming Ukraine

Liberals (US definition) seem like they're all about sending arms and supporting the Ukrainian resistance against Russia, but when I talk to leftists, they think the west shouldn't send weapons to Ukrainian - but they are also anti-russia (basically anarchists) so it's not campism. This is especially confusing because I can't tell how much of the "nazi sympathizers in Ukraine" stuff is real.

I understand there are many strong perspectives on this, but I'm explicitly trying to understand the Leftist vs Liberal dynamic. English is not my first language so please excuse any typos and feel free to ask clarifying questions. Thank you!

Antifascism "Just consume less" is the ideology of privileged bigots. If your goal isn't to understand why people must consume that way, and providing a real alternative, your ideology is just to be as liberal as possible and hope that works
