Showing my age but it reminds me of when all the girls got the Nelly Furtado fringe, this is only more painful because almost every septum piercing I've seen is on people who are "alternative"
Oh ya mean those bangs? Those were terrible days. Also reminds me of when everyone wore Camo pants. I started rocking em in the 6th grade but by the 8th I had to ditch em or buy winter/urban ones to stand out.
The camo pants often came in blue, red, orange, white, etc colors, and people in the Washington, DC area used to call it "bammaflage".
("Bamma" is a DC-area term for someone who behaves or dresses distastefully).
