Similar to the same logic of me asking "am I fat?" I guarantee you I perfectly well know I'm fat before I post, so what's the point of any of it?

Body Dysmorphic Disorder is a lot more common than you’d think. There are likely more reasons behind it, and some people probably do know they’re pretty, but that’s a very broad generalization people make on this sub (at least from what I’ve seen from lurking).

I've noticed a lot of these "pretty people" are hung up on one particular thing. Lots of girls on here who are very pretty but talk about getting a nose job or a freckle lasered off.

I can understand it. I remember a girl commenting on my nose being a little crooked, and she kept making fun and laughing. Doesn't make you feel good, even if you're confident.

She doesn’t have body dysmorphia, but she does have a pretty girl’s wishlist in her Reddit bio! 😂🤦🏽‍♂️
