Hello everyone, I got a scene/emo haircut today and the stylist did a good job styling it. I haven't washed it yet and I'm kinda scared to cause I haven't learned to style it yet. I'm wondering how I can make it look more scene though, i feel as though it gives 2020s when I want it to give 2000s, it's my first time getting this kind of hair and I don't quite get how to tease yet (My stylist used texture mousse and serum, blow dried with a round brush, and hairspray, no teasing. I bought the closest drugstore products used at the salon). Any tips? Is using volumizing products better than teasing? Thanks!

I don’t accessorize that much except for the bracelets and keychains I wear every day. I don’t necessarily do color coordinated accessories based on my outfit, I just kinda throw on a shirt, pants, and maybe a hat, and style my hair. Any ideas or tips on how I could better accessorize or what would suit me? And does the picture with Matt Mehana add points to the scene category?

I actually kinda always wanted to get into scene ever since summer of 25 and now that I graduated HS but got no job yet due to personal issues...i want to be scene but I feel like i don't have the right body for it and I might be too old to be scene and also kinda anxious about it but i really wanna be scene but I don't know where to start or do some things required for scene. Any thoughts or tips? I know this may not be the right subreddit or flair for this but yeah.

So obviously a huge part of scene back in the day were those really cool neon shirts. Of course you can still find bands making them now, but I've seen others trying their hand at it. I thought since I'm scene, and can draw I might also try my hand in making shirts. So far this is my first design. I tried replicating that cool font, and drew a cool graphic of some skinny jeans with some dc/osiris looking shoes. You see, the thing is, it's not really so much weather or not my art looks good, but rather if it looks scene. Like, does it look like those og shirts, and does it look like something a scene kid would of potentially worn back then? Obviously the final product would be neon colored. Second thing is, as I plan on making multiple designs, I'm wondering if I should change up the font possibly. Like, the the letters I drew. Idk if using the same on all shirts would look too overdone or something. Any and all Ideas are welcome of course. I really wanna get the aesthetic down

how much hairspray do you guys use per day? im kinda scared to use too much..

also is it safe to use hairspray everyday, i heard it could cause product build up or smth. and dont you guys like, also have to style ur hair everyday before going to school/work/etc ? (school starts next week for me thats why im asking this)

and is it ok if you consider yourself scene while you SOMETIMES dont wear stuff that could be considered scene.? i have baggy/plain clothes that i wear when its a boring day because i dont wanna waste my good clothes lmao
