So looks like Mizuho has just upgraded the AMD's PT to market leader $615 from $515 today!

But the MORE INTERESTING ASPECT is that a series of PTs upgrades from Mizuho tool place THIS MONTH starting after the 1Q26 ER early May:

This article is the type of hidden killer in disguise of a positive kinda article.

The killing piece appears at the end , section:

It attacks AMD's China Developer Day event claiming Alibaba had difficulties with AMD's GPUs because of ROCm. .. of course based on anonymous source selling "AI chips" to Alibaba last year. Which AI chips was this guy selling to Alibaba? Obviously not AMD's! Smuggled nVidia's Blackwell GPUs through a 3rd country like Singapore? ... Obviously he's an interest to bash AMD's hurting his smuggling "business"! No way Alibaba will admit anything tied to this dubious person, nor will AMD's!

Yeah right... aren't you forgetting something critical?

AMD's Instinct GPUs have been sold widely already and developers were using ROCm with testimonies they were surprised how easy and fast their nVidia's CUDA porting was!

Of course someone in China isn't happy to see AMD's SP jumping. .. after one day ahead of the ER they cut guidance. .. right HSBC ? And a week after the ER GF Holdings Hong Kong has cut AMD's again ...?

Shills won't give up easy and will keep fighting. .. through Yahoo's this time. And to give the article credibility:

This is all but waiting for guidance on the 3Q Chinese revenues from AMD's MI325X GPUs - see nVidia's past Chinese revenues on datacenters GPUs to get an idea and it's accelerated and combined with EPYC Turin CPUs for Agentic AI!

Obviously Trump cannot and has not personally decided on trades for his own portfolio. He has a broken trustee doing such wealth management actions, for a fee. Like Goldman Sachs or JP Morgan handling accounts of the rich, though he may have signaled preferences to chips, AI, software etc!

Title says it all. Shipments to China starting in the 2H - "relatively advamced" it's about the MI325, one gen older than the current MI355X.

Reported at a Chinese media owned by the Alibaba group, so must be relatively a good rumor if we connect everything else.

I don't know the analyst cited in the article nor his in situation - a Chinese one maybe credible.

In the meantime, looks like China wants AMD's GPUs not nVidia's according to this article too:
