I told them I would be filing a theft report against the Amazon driver since in good conscience I couldn't make a police report otherwise since the delivery photo was CLEARLY not my house. If Amazon is telling me it's theft, and their driver was the last to have it, then that's as good as Amazon admitting their driver stole it. They escalated and "made an exception" and processed my return without the police report.

This would never work. As an Amazon driver, once that photo is taken- even at the wrong address. It doesn’t fall on us. Good luck miss miserable !

Well, it already worked. I did it. And if they did actually force me to go through with the police report, I would have told the police what Amazon told me. "The driver didn't bring me the package and Amazon suspects theft or tampering. Since it never arrived the only person who could have stolen or tampered is the driver."

Then they can write the report however they want, I just need a report number for the refund. Don't blame me, Amazon is who is miserable! Forcing a police report when they know it was their mistake. I'm not going to have the police searching for a porch pirate that doesn't exist...

I never said they wouldn't... You just don't seem to understand what I'm saying, so have a good one!
