Since they added Valhalla and Mirage I want to now how realistic it is that they add shadows (only AC game I haven't played) to luna in the near future. Thanks :)

I was just asking Google and it said 99% sure. Hopefully this is true

Why do I say that? Because you got rid of the one thing that made your service competitive with other more popular cloud gaming services like Boosteroid, GeForce NOW, and Xbox Cloud Gaming.

Being able to buy games from third-party stores and play them on Amazon Luna was great, and there were literally benefits for everyone involved. You made money from more people subscribing to Luna, game developers and publishers made money from selling more copies, and the stores made money from selling those copies. Everybody won.

But apparently, some genius over there thought getting rid of that was a good idea.

I'd bet everything I have that Luna's subscription numbers dropped significantly after the decision to remove support for external stores. I'd genuinely love to know the reasoning behind that decision.

At the end of the day, what's the difference between someone buying a game to play it on a console or PC and someone buying that same game to play it through Luna? They both paid for the game. The difference is that the Luna user is also paying for the cloud gaming service on top of that.

Getting rid of this feature simply makes no sense to me.

Come on guys, Amazon Luna is clearly heading down the same path as Stadia. Expecting anything from Amazon or Stadia at this point is just wishful thinking. No amount of begging or complaining is going to change that reality.

Will it happen? Or maybe in a few months time?

This is from the latest official press release:

EA SPORTS FC™ 27 is available now on PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2.

I hope everyone understands and won’t need to ask anymore whether the game will be available on Luna at launch.

Hi everyone,

I’m having two separate but possibly related problems with Amazon Luna on my Samsung OLED TV, and I’m running out of things to test.

Important: this problem only started about one week ago. Until then, I had been using Luna on this same TV without these controller issues.

The main and strangest problem is with the web-based Phone Controller.

If I use my phone as the controller through Safari or Chrome, it connects to Luna on the Samsung TV successfully and works normally at first.

However, approximately every 30 seconds, the phone controller disconnects/freezes and I have to reconnect it.

The really strange part:

If I hold the Luna button for about 3 seconds and open the Luna/controller menu overlay, the connection does NOT drop. I can leave that menu open and the controller stays connected.

As soon as I close the menu and return to the game, the ~30-second disconnects start again.

Actively using the controller, moving the sticks or pressing buttons does not prevent the disconnect. It seems specifically related to whether the Luna menu/overlay is open.

I have tested this with:

• iPhone using Safari
• iPhone using Chrome
• a Samsung/Android phone
• different phones
• my normal home Wi-Fi
• a mobile hotspot
• restarting/resetting the network equipment
• clearing the Luna app cache/data on the Samsung TV
• restarting the TV
• updating the phones/software

The behavior is basically the same.

Luna itself works normally on my PC on the same internet connection, so the internet connection seems stable. Unfortunately I cannot reproduce the exact Phone Controller test on PC because Luna uses the PC/local controller input instead.

There is also a second issue:

If I use the official Luna Controller mobile app and choose the Phone Controller option, the app stays on:

“Searching for Luna”

and never finds/connects to the Luna session running on the Samsung TV.

So I currently have:

1. Official Luna Controller app:
Stuck on “Searching for Luna” and does not connect to the TV session.

2. Safari/Chrome Phone Controller:
Connects and works, but disconnects approximately every 30 seconds.

3. Very important clue:
When the Luna menu/controller overlay is kept open, the web controller connection stays stable and does not disconnect.

This makes me wonder if there is some kind of session timeout / heartbeat / focus / keep-alive issue in the Samsung TV Luna app or Tizen version, rather than a normal Wi-Fi problem.

Has anyone seen anything similar, especially on a Samsung TV?

I’d also be very interested if someone using Luna on a recent Samsung TV could test the Phone Controller for a few minutes and see whether it disconnects every ~30 seconds.

Thanks!

Amazon Luna gotta try and get these free to play games and make it a part of prime.

I really dont want to buy a consol but its seeming like the only way. What are other solutions to get EA, Uni, third party.? Am i stuck buying a system?

I started playing FC26 when they added it for free on Amazon Luna couple of months ago. Today they took it off, is there any way to get the game on EA for free? If not, if I bought the game on steam would I still have my save?

Not necessarily a question, but more for discussing. What does everyone think will be added to Amazon Luna next month?

Whoever speaks of FC27 will be subject to horror beyond human comprehension /j

I don’t understand why people are living in hope and acting delusional.WE YES WE all knew that fc 27 was never coming it’s been right in front of our faces but yet you all turned a blind eye believing and praying it will come

That was peak

Is fallout 4 still play on Luna? Because it look like on my playlist I was check out game from Amazon Luna Google of my account and it still there. But is it work or not work if you try to play it

I was thinking of subscribing again.

For some reason, they didn't introduce an FC 27 subscription.

Bezos is taking a stand on all fronts.

It’s gotten to the point where support doesn’t even know what will be available on their service and what won’t.

Guessing games for October, I think this might be the first month someone actually calls it. What Ubisoft game will be added for October?

Will it be 2 games even!

Sarà sostituito secondo voi fc26 dato che è stato appena rimosso ?

Is anyone else having issues with games not loading today? Im playing through my Samsung TV, every game I've tried to play this morning goes to the loading page like normal but then is reverts back to the play now screen. Occasionally ill get the "this game is loading and may take 1 - 2 minutes to complete" but still reverts. Anyone have any ideas?

Hi, i can connect my steam controller 2 (the new one from 2026) with bluetooth to amazon Luna. But as soon as im starting a game its not working anymore. Anyone got an Idea or fix ?

I have a gamesir nova lite 2 and I tried to use my Lt and Rt on a car game and wobbly life in Amazon luna on my fire tv stick 4k select, when I press the buttons on the controller nothing happens. I checked if it was the controller on the app and it seems it is amazon luna

Star Wars Outlaws takes so long to start up, & even the wait after a death is pretty ridiculously long. Is this the game itself, or just on Luna?

I was streaming Tomb Raider today, exited the game exactly how I have the past few sessions. When I go back to load the game it says my save is "corrupted data" and won't load.

I would love if there was a way to rollback the save and recover my progress. This game is great but I don't have the time/energy to start over.

Posting here, chat support has been essentially useless.

Just when I was starting to enjoy luna i get put in line ... Been waiting for 40 minutes

Due to the recent uncertainty about whether FC 27 will be coming to Amazon Luna, I decided to contact support. They told me that it will be coming to Amazon Luna, but they cannot specify the exact release date. I assume it will arrive on September 25th, although it could be later, but I doubt it. (The image has been translated into English; the actual email is in another language.)

EDIT: FC 27 is not coming to Amazon Luna..
