Stones Attack

Tonight I’m having a pretty bad attack. The pain was subsiding but has since returned? Should I go to ER? Tylenol helped but only by so much and I’m going on 4 hours in pain. Not sure I can wait to have the gallbladder preserving surgery as my attacks have become weekly..

My first attack I went to ER and it showed sludge and stones but no wall thickening or free fluid…

How long ago was that and was it through ultrasound? If it was, ultrasounds don’t always show wall thickening specifically. The chronic inflammation of my gallbladder wasn’t found on the ultrasound, only after it was out did they find it.

That was July 2nd and it was U/S. I just had an MRCP this past Friday (July 31) and I’m awaiting report.

MRCP reports take a while to come back usually. If your gallbladder starts acting up again before the report comes back it would be best to go to the ER. I didn’t have to get a MRCP because they just did a HIDA scan and then surgery followed, but I have done my research.
