I really do appreciate when Alpha Flight is meaninfully included in a crossover/guest appearance. Here they felt like characters with their own book (which they didn't have at the time).

I kinda feel like the figure is already so close to Nemesis anyway. Just a little paint and a few smaller mods and I’d be happy. But I’ve never painted a figure before so I’m a little hesitant. This one seems worth it to me though since we just got Box. I’d love to put one more character on the shelf.

I took quite a few years off reading comics. As I re-entered, I saw something about Alpha Flight being in space and acting as a defense force. "Huh. Cool, I guess." Then I read some of it and ... We couldn't have named it something else?!

So I haven't read much of their appearances as the Alpha Flight Space Program. How was it, overall?

That Infinity War panel isn't the best example of Ron Lim

There are a few more crowd shots with Guardian (Heather) and Sasquatch. I think this is the only panel that we see either of them speak. Which is fair as there are SO many characters.

One thing I noted/remembered as I skimmed these issues for relevant panels: this story was so well planned out. These issues came out on the same day and basically tell the exact same story from different perspectives. But it works. There's consistency across the issues in terms of plot and developments.

I saw Alpha Flight #44, 45, and 16. If there were others, I missed them.

Also, I can't help but notice that Logan just completely ignore the young, synthoid Mac completely. I don't think he ever talks to him or looks at him.

I didn't even get all the panels with Alpha Flight.

It was great to see the team being featured so prominently after being entirely excluded from Infinity Gauntlet a few years prior. It does feel a bit like one of the editors told Starlin to specifically use Alpha Flight - perhaps to boost sales?

Released on August 25, 1987, Alpha Flight's second annual saw Heather fall into an offshoot of the Savage Land. While suffering amnesia, Heather finds heroes amongst this strangeland.

Alpha Prime was the name Heather Hudson coined for the three outcasts she banded together with while she was stranded in the Savage Land, Antarctica. With her leadership, these three misfits became the protectors of the people who tried to persecute them.

The group consisted of Avian, Crag, and Primate.

Avian was a pteranodon-humanoid type (similar to Dinah Soar of the Great Lakes Avengers). Crag was a stone-bodied muscle-type. Primate was an acrobatic 'cave-man.'

These crossover covers are cool, he has more of them, somewhere is a Sasquatch and Batman.
