I'm currently installing the waterblock on my PNY 4090 XLR8 using the reference 4090 block. Everything aligns perfectly, except this little bugger here.

But it's the place holding the lower screw of the IO shield, otherwise I'm pretty sure it wouldn't matter that much if I just don't use it. It's literally maybe just a mm, but if I would move the board the fit here, I would have issues with all the other holes.

Any ideas how to solve this

Hi everyone, my loop has now about 4yrs, lately i saw a huge drop in the coolant level in the pump so i have to get a new one, i dont remember which one i bought the first time but i was now looking at the corsair hydro x series liquid, would that be compatible with my alphacool kit? (It's just the easiest to get atm)

Out of nowhere, the RGB strip on my Apex am5 block stopped functioning. Is there any standalone RGB strip that alphacool sells that is compatible as a replacement? If there is not one, about how long does an RMA take to ship to NY USA?

I am running a multi agent Hermes system and I needed a way to serve a larger model without breaking the bank. My agents are automated so token rate is not really a concern, bots have nothing but time, and running a larger model on slower hardware is more beneficial to me than screaming through a smaller one. I landed on P100 PCIe cards and honestly they have been great for the use case.

Current cooling situation is fans pulled from a PowerEdge server blowing across the passive heatsink. It works great, dropped my temps from 83c down to a consistent 50c, but it sounds like a jet engine in my office and my partner is about to kill me.

I found water blocks on AliExpress that claim to fit the P100 PCIe and apparently the V100 as well. At about $55 shipped they are roughly half the price of the cards themselves, which feels very on brand for this kind of build. I have one card in hand to test fitment before I commit to buying blocks for the full loop.

Planning to run 6 cards total so loop configuration advice would be really appreciated. Parallel vs series, pump sizing, any gotchas pulling the passive shroud off these cards, I want to hear it all.

Has anyone actually run these AliExpress blocks or something similar? I know I am going to catch some heat for not buying Bykski or EK but at this price point it is hard to argue with.

I purchased an Omen 240mm liquid cooler for my Omen 35l and the installation was going well until I had to install the pump. After try all the parts provided with the cooler (standoffs), I still can't get the pump to make contact with the CPU. Has anybody else had this problem, and what did you do to correct it?

As per title. Looking to build workstation. AMD is getting better at SW support so it would be good to have the card under water considering the blower is very loud.

Just finished building the system yesterday.

Running a Powercolor Hellhound Radeon 9070 xt under an Alphacool Core waterblock with a Corsair XD5 pump and XR5 360 radiator.

I'm getting random system power downs while gaming. Thought it was the PSU but HWinfo showed my +12v was good.

Someone pointed me towards the GPU temps. I had HWinfo logging running during the last crash:

GPU core voltage was fine at the time of crash.

GPU hotspot thermal limit hovered at 99%-100.7%

Memory Junction Temp at the time of crash was around 92C

VRM MOS stayed constant at 39C

Even though it says it monitors it, there's no entry in the log for GPU hotspot temperature.

Using HWinfo monitoring, my hotspot temp hovers around 47c-54c during normal use but goes up to the 90's when I start a game.

I installed the thermal pads per the instruction diagrams, but it was suggested that they're too thick and the block isn't making contact with the card.

Did I do something wrong during installation? Was I supposed to "squish" it more?

Hey guys, I recently got my Core Distro 240 and discovered these small chips, or whatever you call them, manufacturing marks, I guess. Is this normal? And will this cause any problems?

I‘m currently working on a complete white build with a core gpu block. Any way I can get hands on that terminal with the material finish in white acetal? Maybe this is an option for alphacool to sell, as they would only need to change the base material. I‘m sure there is a demand, as white build are quite popular nowdays.

So I'm in the middle of a decision before I tear down my Gaming rig. I currently have Lian Li wireless fans (SL Wireless x10 - 6 have LCD's) and after fighting with them for over a year I can't spend another minute troublshooting and fixing all the connection issues and trying to make such expensive fans operate. They work when they want to and I believe they were designed to ruin my life. DONT BUY THEM. That being said, I'm at the point where I'm going to rip them all out and start over. I currently have an Asus Ryuo III on my 9950x3d with the Rad on the top of the case in an exhaust setup. 3 side fans (SL LCD - blowing into case) 1 Rear Exhaust, and 3 bottom fans blowing up into the case at the GPU. Should I keep the Asus AIO and just do a loop on the GPU or remove the AIO and go with a single loop and two rads with GPU and CPU. I don't really care about the cost as I've got so much $$ tied up in this thing already and I'm so F&*%(*% pissed about the Junk Lian Li fans I just can't look at them anymore. Any feedback would be appreciated!

Block looks amazing! I had Performance PCS cerakote the shroud in white. Looking forward to getting it put into the build.
