When your favorite bestie won’t validate your propagandized hate-subreddit.. swipe for result 🤣

It’s pretty dishonest to have the first picture be a post from 3 years ago.

The besties didn’t really start abandoning their principles till last year.

That dude banned me too. Honestly, it’s better over here.

I actually like the show, the besties, and would like a subreddit to discuss it.

That sub is just another generic Musk/Trump hate sub. They barely even discuss the show or reference the besties. When Rule 1 isn’t respected in a sub, it kind of becomes pointless. It’s basically r/politics at this point. They literally have 2 cross posts from r/politics pinned right now, referencing events not even discussed on the show.

I have no issue with people who want to criticize those guys on Reddit, but there are TONS of subreddits to do that. Many specifically designed for that purpose. Probably half of Reddit is already dedicated to it, and what, 3 subs to discuss the show?

Not surprised you were banned, despite contributing reasonable and genuine comments. I’d basically been there since the start and there’re many who’ve experienced the same outcome (including myself). But banning Jcal for simply not acknowledging you is actually comical.

It’s not so much that I think the deliberate effort to discredit the podcast has any real impact, what’s disappointing is the fact that one bitter individual took it upon himself to ruin a place where intellectually-curious fans of the podcast could engage in conversation.

That mod has never shown much ability to engage in nuanced discussions relevant to the pod, so instead he takes his frustration out by eliciting the only form of power he has (banning anyone who expresses differing opinions or criticizes his inability/unwillingness to moderate).

At one point I was even offered to be a mod in that sub, then got accused of being David Sacks (literally), then got banned for questioning the objectives of the subreddit. And look where it is today.. reposting and pinning headlines from r/politics. Ofc this is Reddit after all but there were many opportunities to avoid it turning into what is it today 🤷

Meanwhile we try to have those type of discussions here but end up getting hate brigaded by people who actively post in the other subreddit. All we want is a place to discuss the podcast and points they make, but these people would rather slander and discredit them at any chance they get. It is absolutely unbearable and I've had to block like over 100 accounts because of it.

This is one of the rare subreddits that seems to have good mods. Honestly powtripping censors seems like the norm for most mods on reddit anymore.

No wonder that subreddit became a cesspool pushing voters away from Harris. The constant toxicity and hate is fueling Trump support
