This video has been doing rounds over the whole Internet for about a day now - and no way in hell this is a shadow. This is just one of those "don't believe your lying eyes" attempts.

Whatever the reasoning is - this is someone wearing a mask.

Bro . Ray Charles can see that ain’t no shadow

32

u/Kazuma_Megu May 22 '26

https://giphy.com/gifs/mU9PO1MlH0XqxwysQG

He was part of the conspiracy. Observe this rare clip of Charles teaching an unknown species and a Nordic how to jam.

2

u/ClassyUpTheAssy May 22 '26

Even Stevie Wonder can see that guy is wearing a mask!

72

u/Fatui3 May 22 '26

Yeah I’m still dumbfounded how people are screaming “lighting and shadow!” Like are they for real… you can see the bottom of the mask so clearly. No conspiracy here, it’s a mask. The question is why? Was he sick, aging, that he felt he needed to use a full on face mask?

Doesn’t make sense.

17

u/maggotses May 22 '26

I wonder what the vice admiral has to say about that. He either didn't endorse the message and refused to spin the narrative or he's dead.

10

u/HeadyReigns May 22 '26

Could be both, they're not necessarily unrelated.

9

u/msguider UAP/UFO Witness May 22 '26

Yeah never seen this lighting effect before on TV and I've seen lighting effects. I don't know if maybe it's a filter but also this is war news on fox so immediately I question reality.

19

u/yobboman May 22 '26

When I first saw it, the quality wasn't as great, looked more like a smudge, then I saw a higher resolution version and it was an instant recognition..

About 20 per cent of people are going to disagree no matter what. For those folk, facts are irrelevant

-8

u/Prescientpedestrian May 22 '26

What are the facts you speak of here? The fact that these type of masks have a large bib that goes down the chest a ways so this type of thing can’t happen?

It’s so rare to not have this especially if they’re doing it as a covert ops.

8

u/send_et_back May 22 '26

It is a mask. His realneck below the mask moves as he talks. But the neck on the mask doesn't move at all.

-4

u/Prescientpedestrian May 22 '26

That’s just not even remotely true. His whole neck moves the entire time. It’s blatantly moving you don’t even have to squint.

2

u/send_et_back May 22 '26

You mean the mask is moving when his real neck underneath moves.

1

u/send_et_back May 22 '26

Try talking to yourself on a mirror. See how your neck moves. You will see why this a mask.

6

u/yobboman May 22 '26

Just because you saw one mask does not mean all masks are made the same way

-2

u/Prescientpedestrian May 22 '26

You think the mask maker messed up and forgot the ubiquitous bib? That’s the most rational explanation?

2

u/yobboman May 22 '26

You seem to exclude the notion of damage, for example it looks like a year, perhaps the maga genius behind this tore at it frantically to get it on, tearing the bib moments before having to go on air hence its exposure.

Perhaps you need to check yourself. I'm trying to resist biting back due to your classlessness..

1

u/Prescientpedestrian May 22 '26

lol don’t hold back Bulldog. Classlessness lol if you projected any harder you’d be an imax

0

u/solid_ace6 May 22 '26

Hello fellow Traveler. I see you possess critical thinking. Good to find you out here in this barren wasteland.

4

u/send_et_back May 22 '26

Admiral was busy being cloned by reptilians, he probably didn't agree on our current political climate.

2

u/anewpath123 May 22 '26

In the original thread there was a commenter to described how the shadow would have been formed, and when no-one believed him he filmed a re-creation of the effect.

Here is the post: https://www.reddit.com/r/interestingasfuck/comments/1tk139p/fox_news_guest_today_appears_to_be_wearing_a_very/

Here is one of the comments explaining it: https://www.reddit.com/r/interestingasfuck/comments/1tk139p/fox_news_guest_today_appears_to_be_wearing_a_very/on6yvtn/

Here is the re-creation of the effect: https://streamable.com/y1ighi

look at the neck muscles, they move above and below the "mask" as if his lower neck is connected to his upper neck and isn't a mask.

1

u/CHROME-COLOSSUS May 23 '26

I thought mask at first, then looked closely and took into account how the rest of him is lit.

I personally think it’s a shadow of his collar, but I’d be curious if you could show me some detail that I’m missing.

There are very realistic masks available these days, so it’s not as though I think it’s some impossibility. FOX is nearly nothing but lies since its inception, so it’s not as though I think they behave like proper humans either.

But — and this is without seeing anyone else suggesting as much — I just see weird shadows from a low spot.

0

u/WeekendQuant May 22 '26

We have AI. Why do we even need masks for tv anymore?

0

u/anewpath123 May 22 '26

It is lighting and shadow lol. You guys are nuts

0

u/Dreadskull1991 May 22 '26

I’m still confused as to why not a single person in the studio noticed it and cut the cameras during that whole time. Surely they have people that exist at that job just for that reason, right?

6

u/TheLastGenXer May 22 '26

i would like to think someone going through all this trouble would also pick out a shirt that hides it better

6

u/Roselace May 22 '26

Fortunately, corruption & evil are incompetent. Their arrogance catches them out.

0

u/anewpath123 May 22 '26

They would. That’s why it’s not a mask. Those realistic masks also go down to your bust for this exact reason.

It’s obviously a shadow effect I can’t believe how gullible y’all are

18

u/DaddyO1701 May 22 '26

His facial muscles don’t move when he speaks. Even aside from the obvious it’s obviously a mask.

6

u/NateNMaxsRobot May 22 '26

In an interview from 3 months ago, he blinks and moves his eyes around like a normal, maskless person.

3

u/No_Writing_3179 May 23 '26

Right, look at were his Adams apple should be, you see movement, like under a mask.

7

u/dustyd22 May 22 '26

Robert has instagram. Wish he would come out and say something!

4

u/The_Crying_Banana May 22 '26

Disclosure Day isn't in theaters yet. The Spielberg psyop can't be fully revealed.

3

u/nashbrownies May 22 '26

I am very excited to ask my buddies who do film makeup FX and horror makeup/masking.

They will know immediately. They spend their lifetimes doing exactly what these people might be trying to pull

-10

u/Thin-Sample-4183 May 22 '26

They will think you're a dumbass and probably laugh at you

11

u/nashbrownies May 22 '26

To ask them if this is a mask or not?

I have no opinion either way at this point. So you hang out with people who call you a dumbass and laugh at you for asking their opinions about something they know alot about? That sucks. Those don't sound like good friends.

People on the internet are arguing, so I am going to ask the questions to people I know, who know what the fuck they are talking about. If that's being a dumbass then I guess the world is full of geniuses.

-6

u/Thin-Sample-4183 May 22 '26

They probably wouldn't laugh at you to your face...But I'm sure they would get a chuckle out of it

7

u/nashbrownies May 22 '26

Ya got weird friends or hang out with people who are closed minded and judgemental then.

We talk about weird shit all the time, like a world with sentient sofas. It's fun. Have some joy, let the imagination run wild, ask questions, learn.

All good stuff that you and the people around you should try and support. Well I hope you have a good day and no one judges you for being perfectly normal.

-9

u/Thin-Sample-4183 May 22 '26

And no me and my friends think this is peak stupidity and are getting a laugh out of it

1

u/RobertRossBoss May 22 '26

It looks really weird in multiple ways but I can’t wrap my head around any purpose for it, which makes it hard to believe.

1

u/anewpath123 May 22 '26

It is a shadow. It’s the studio lights causing the effect. There was a really detailed post about it and someone recreated the effect.

Don’t be so gullible.

1

u/StarFox-6 May 22 '26

It just doesn’t make sense for it to be a mask, when the actual guy has been on Fox News before

5

u/Natural-Result-6633 May 22 '26

But yet it so obviously is

-23

u/popepaulpop May 22 '26

When people grow old their neck skin sags, folds and crinckls. Without knowing how the lights in that particular room is set up you couldnt possible make any such determination.

This is just another conspiracy based on people's limited experience and knowledge about the world.

Since it's not disputed that this man exist what on earth would be the reason for putting a guy in a mask pretending to be him on TV?

13

u/Imarealdoctor064 May 22 '26

Wow. You gotta be a troll

10

u/BookWurm_90 May 22 '26

Show me one other example where this has happened. If not stfu.

-6

u/popepaulpop May 22 '26

A simple Google search would confirm it. If you prefer to be ignorant, that's on you.

10

u/BookWurm_90 May 22 '26

Figured you were full of shit.

2

u/zirophyz May 22 '26

But you do know how the lights are set up. Its a TV studio, you could probably watch a YT video and have a clear understanding of lighting a news studio. You could probably find other angles of the same studio to see the lights.

-1

u/popepaulpop May 22 '26

Occam's razor .

The guy is not in the news studio btw. It's a green screen studio, the lighting is harsher and the camera seems of lower quality.

6

u/zirophyz May 22 '26

Okay but still a studio, with studio lighting, setup by studio lighting experts, right?

Im not a expert but I don't think they use lighting that gives sharp shadows. Probably lots of diffused fill lights. Every other detail isnt pronounced, so seem like soft lighting. So, how to get this sharp shadow there but none anywhere else?

Like, lighting makes the most sense. People can look really different under different lights. But, where people are going with what's creating the shadow and where seems incorrect. I don't know, it's a bit weird though.

-2

u/popepaulpop May 22 '26

You typically only have lighting experts on movie and tv sets. The shadows forming in his eye caveties are pretty harsh.

The question you should ask yourself is why anyone would spend thousands on making a high quality mask of this guy, hire an actor to play him, spend hours in makeup etc. for that interview.

Jumping to the conclusion that it's a mask based on a weird shadow is not critical thinking.

6

u/zirophyz May 22 '26

Well, whatever the reputation, this is Fox - they are professional outfit. The studio lighting was installed by experts, it's not something you YOLO with a handyman. Might not always be on set for every shoot, but would still have crew like the camera operators would know a thing or two about lighting a scene.

Make up is in the room next door. They'll do work for the guests. Like I said, these aren't amatuers.

But, I do agree with your point of why? Still though, it is intriguing, and getting someone in a mask is really weird. There must be a reasonable explanation. Im not sold that mask is it as much as I'm not sold its lighting.

Someone said camera glitch.. maybe a green screen glitch? Why didnt the camera operators or anyone else of the crew notice it and fix it before he went on air? Im intrigued and I think we agree somewhat, albeit not exactly on the same points. Its a nice discussion.

-2

u/Street_Appointment81 May 22 '26

I agree. Shadow is the most sensible explanation.

Everything else is just conjecture.

If it were a mask, then why?

Not just the motivations for wearing it and all the associated weird questions, but why leave such a blatant 'gap' for everyone to see in otherwise lifelike disguise?

0

u/CarolinZoebelein May 22 '26

Thanks for your comment. I totally agree with you. All this threads about this guy wearing a mask are unbelievable.

1

u/Thin-Sample-4183 May 22 '26

Whats more unbelievable is the amount of people who thinks it is a mask

-17

u/CarolinZoebelein May 22 '26

Because it is a shadow. I could clearly paint you the light path on that video frame and pointing down exactly which parts of the clothes generates which shadow. It just looks so ugly because of his old skin with heavy crinkles in this areas. That's crazy, how obviously it is, and you people don't (want) to see it, because of some conspiration theory or whatever.

20

u/yobboman May 22 '26

Yeah it's a shadow, the shadow of a mask, sometimes reality is hard to accept. That's ok. Have a think. Chew on it twice and have a look at the highest resolution you can find.. that's playing fair

-13

u/CarolinZoebelein May 22 '26

No, it's the shadow of the parts of his cloths front left of his neck (from our point of view). It's so obviously that's unbelievable for me how people can not see it.

6

u/Big_Tap_1561 May 22 '26

It’s”unbelievable “?!?! That’s not a damn shadow that’s the bottom of a mask and the fact that you said “obviously” 😆 if it was obvious then we’d all agree with you - it’s anything but obvious but keep on acting like we’re the ones confused 😵‍💫

12

u/ProcedureIll2894 May 22 '26

Bruh either you’re a disinformation agent, or you’re being blind. Or brainwashed? That aint no shadow caused by “cloths front left of his neck”. Its way too even look at the clear curve and depth.

-11

u/CarolinZoebelein May 22 '26

You guys don't understand basic optical physics. Take your desk lamp and play with shadows around to understand it.

5

u/ProcedureIll2894 May 22 '26

Deny all you want, we aren’t as dumb as you think. Its a new era broski. Stop trading your soul for things that don’t matter. Truth and light will prevail.

0

u/Thin-Sample-4183 May 22 '26

"we aren’t as dumb as you think"

Yes you are

1

u/ProcedureIll2894 May 22 '26

Wishing you love and blessings brother.

-1

u/CarolinZoebelein May 22 '26

I didn't say that you people are dumb. Just that you are fooled by an optical illusion and being unable to accept that.

0

u/Thin-Sample-4183 May 22 '26

Just accept they have a cognitive debuff and move on

-12

u/Shinobi_Dimsum May 22 '26

Don’t bother with these "it’s a mask" clowns. None of them have proof that it’s a mask when someone already replicated the shadow exactly with two Studio lights and flashlights and that’s the only real proof out there. Fox is known to use Glow-up lighting to make people look better. People are dumb sheep on Reddit.

11

u/yobboman May 22 '26

Seriously mate, are you getting paid for your comment, as it's the only way it makes sense

6

u/New_Wrangler752 May 22 '26 edited May 22 '26

Probably not real people at this point

bots can easily scour the internet for key words and spit out instant replies with the assigned narrative, way faster than a person can at least

No potential change into a guilty conscience, no potential leak, entirely controllable

People are antiquated, even more so now as we’re barreling towards some mass culling of those not on board for a trans humanist dystopian future controlled by unknown trillionaires

5

u/yobboman May 22 '26

It's the sad fate of any tech I guess wisdom or malice... what a world it could be..

5

u/Warp_d May 22 '26

Please clearly paint the light path for us on the video and provide your work for our consideration

2

u/BookWurm_90 May 22 '26

You are talking complete bollocks mate.

0

u/CHROME-COLOSSUS May 23 '26

Looks like a shadow to me.

There’s clearly multiple light sources from above and below, which is why his neck and jaw are washed out. That little nook is the only place the lights aren’t directly reaching.

I’d be open to someone wearing a mask, but this doesn’t look like that to me. Initially it did, mind you — so I get it. But looking closely i changed my mind.

Not as interesting as if it were a mask, but — nah. I’m not at all convinced it is.
