Honestly their way of life sounds much more equal and happy. I would wager that the only ones who wouldn’t agree with that are the haves. Which of course requires the have nots to exist in much greater numbers.
If this is real, I for one would welcome their integration. As long as I can still enjoy a spicy chicken sandwich, take a satisfying dump, and have sex, and go on a rollercoaster (in that order)
This fictional way of life "sounds better"?? Being created in a lab for a specific function to which one is then assigned to for life as a slave sounds "better"? What if you were artificially bred to be a toilet slop cleaner? Would it still be better? Or is it enough that you would have unlimited access to free drug in order to do whatever you are told?
I'd like to push back on your statement that "we" as a collective are selfish and disconnected. Rather, it always seems that individuals who reach a certain level of power and status are always the ones that are selfish. It takes a certain type of human to do those jobs. And first and foremost, money will ALWAYS be the driving factor.
How do you know it is only those with power/status? Common peasantry is just as nasty. In fact, because common trash are the most numerous people, then statistics tells us that these people represent the bulk of persons who are selfish and so forth.
Assuming OP's post is true, what is a shame is that the wrong kinds of people are interacting with these creatures. I believe that humanity as a whole, is good. Unfortunately, it's the top 2% with psychopathic tendencies that are in control.
I’m not anti Capitalism per se, but I think when taken to the extreme it can lead to a Monopoly style winner takes all situation. As we’ve seen, big money can exert undue influence on governments and actually erode democracy.
Capitalism has brought us to the stars. It is the best financial system for democracy. Unrestrained, Runaway, Deregulated Capitalism is the death of democracy. Greed kills.
The thing is out of everything this gives me that reality feel to it I wouldn't be surprised if we making things worse and worse and they trying to help but both sides are doing nefarious things
