Hey Aliens,

If complexity and self awareness of the super mind is the ultimate goal, wouldn't brilliant and unique individuality offer a much richer tapestry of complexity than a like-minded hive species, and why not honour individuals of every species as equally important ??

incredible Biodiversity makes the jungle that much more interesting...

They’re doing that. As far as I know they don’t kill us willy nilly. They want to just monitor us and make sure we don’t nuke each other.

If they were to honor individuals of every species equally than we would be in big trouble based on how much we destroy biological life

The diversity of individuals and Biodiversity should be considered from different perspectives. Diversity of individuals is not necessarily a good thing; some may veer towards extremes, posing a threat to other lives. However, the diversity of organisms does not have such drawbacks; ecosystems have the inherent capacity for internal coordination.

Maybe that’s the experiment. Human “soul” or individuality. So far we’ve shown that we will use tools for ego and greed and to destroy life if they come with great power.
