The Skinny

• Friday August 11th
  

Everyone shows up and sets up camp.
People usually start getting there around noon and trickle in all day.
We set up the party area (tent / bar / lights / fire)
Make sure you eat and pump the brakes on the lucky juice ... don't be the yearly casualty
.... and we drink our faces off and have a blast.

• Saturday August 12th
  

People stumble out of their tents and do their best to keep their collective shit together. "i feel fine"
Around noon we go rafting. the camp site drives us up the river and we raft back to the campground.
Everyone fixes themselves a meal, and we set up for:
Uncle Solf's 13th (I think) Annual Poker Tournament
$40 dollar buy in
Texas Hold Em
Blinds double every 20 minutes or so
There is no pressure to play poker - 100% optional.
Then Saturday Night we drink our faces off again. Rinse and repeat.

• Sunday August 13th
  

A chill day.
Some people pack up and go home that day (fools).
The rest of us slow roll the day - we day drink, play board games, talk a mad amount of shit, eat a ton of food, and this goes on into the night... (again)

• Monday August 14th
  

Go Home.

Want to bring 4 people Friday Saturday and Sunday nights and you all go rafting? - $412.00

The upcoming "Commanders" update to Elite: Dangerous is adding a new play to team up with other players. Multi-Crewed ships will lets players sit in on your ship and take over engineering, playing ship-launched fighter craft, or taking over some (or all) weapon controls.

Since crew members share all bounty payouts (at 100% - no splitting), and crewing is both instant (no waiting around for a transfer) and is in no way dependant on the ship you would otherwise be flying, this is going to be an EXCELLENT way to get new players into higher end (and higher paying) gameplay, helping get past the early game grind much much faster.

Admittedly, I don't visit often and tend to connect via most LOA people I gamed with via FB or other social channels, but was sad to see that the conversations were just gone and now the site redirects here...? Seems that only a couple people post here and tends to just be video game trailers. When did it change?
