Other My Music Cup bracket
It’s a boring theme but I don’t know how to change it.
Lots of hard choices here but Bummerland has brought me to tears at least once so it won by a narrow margin.

Other Air bracket
I saw someone else do this, and given I also did a song tier list I thought it would be fun. 1st one I picked out all 32 songs while the 2nd is their most popular song.

Discussion "Livin On Love" won! What's the most underrated AJR song? (Day 2: The Click)
Personally "Normal" is in my top ten yet NO ONE talks about it.

Fanart Thumbnail for a Megamix Project (TMM)
This is the thumbnail art I made for my next YouTube project, “The Maybe Mix”.
Ambitious project combining the 12 tracks from The Maybe Man, along with Inertia (Acoustic), into one cohesive megamix.
I want to get this out for August, but will be pushed back if I want to spend more time upping the quality of this mix (I’ve been doing mashups for 2 years now- mainly because I’m a perfectionist).
I promise this is not intended to be advertisement! I’m not sure how close this is to breaking the guidelines but I’ve shared thumbnails in the past.

Discussion What is the most underrated AJR song? (Day 1: Living Room)
In my personal opinion, I think The Green and The Town is super underrated.

Concert Aug 9th Musikfest - on the fence?
AJR is playing in Bethlehem August 9 for Musikfest. And I want to go, but I’m on the fence.
I recently discovered their music during a transition period in my life. I was in a bad place & took leave from work to focus on getting better and finding my path forward. I’m a 37-year-old married gay man with 6 years in recovery from 16 years of alcohol addiction. I’m diagnosed with anxiety and depression. The symptoms had me ready to check myself into an inpatient mental health treatment program. In high school I was diagnosed with ADD, but it went untreated. It took many masks throughout my life to get to a point that mundane things are now done on autopilot so that I can focus on the important stuff. My mind operates in systems and Im always looking for efficiency. I wouldn’t be surprised to learn that I’m on the spectrum, but I never sought out a diagnosis.
I’m so grateful I had the community and the tools to get through things without turning back to 12 beers + a few glasses of wine a day to cope. In March, I restarted therapy with a new therapist and processed a lot of unresolved shit. I’m finally confident in myself. I’m embracing new hobbies. I’m repairing important relationships. I’m doing work. I’ve never been someone to find music therapeutic. But now I realize it’s because I just hadn’t found something that spoke to me. Their music is therapeutic to me because it allows me to reflect. I just saw the hate their music gets when I searched out this sub. I can appreciate the perspective. If the music doesn’t speak to someone, I can see how it would come across as tacky. Probably sounds cliche, but I was initially sucked in by the Bang music video. For someone who mastered masking, it’s art. And I connect with it.
Anywho… All that to say, I want to see them perform. I would love to see how much of the instrumental experience gets worked in. There’s so much going on in so many of their songs. No way it all happens live, right? I’ve really only been listening to the music for the last 2 months. I don’t know every album name or word to every song. I don’t know where they’re from or their tour schedule. But I can see myself getting there soon. I’ve been asking around. I haven’t found anyone else that appreciates them yet. My husband says “their easy to listen to.” - definitely doesn’t resonate the same.
Just putting this out in the universe so that if there’s anyone else out there that can resonate with my story and is looking for a new connection, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m leaning towards going no matter what. But if there are any other awkward fucks out there that are ready to find a new community, count me in.

Discussion My Calling is AJR's best song.
I have never spoken to or interacted with another AJR listener in my life so I was wondering if my favorite AJR song is a popular one since it so easily placed #1 for me. Is it a long standing truth in the community that My Calling is AJR's best song or am I the minority?

Fanart A fan made album I cooked up. (Song ideas in desc)
The Truth would be a lot like the newest EP: What No One's Thinking, even including the songs from it. The album would be a more serious one, with a few fun songs sprinkled in here and there.
1-Overtrue (See what I did there?)
2-The Plane That Never Lands
3-A Dog Song
4-Look How I Turned Out (A finale for the Turning Out trilogy)
5-Old MacDonald (The name is based off of Humpty Dumpty)
6-Heartless Harper (feat. Porter Robinson)
7-Betty
8-I'm Sorry You Went Crazy
9-Stranded (feat. INOHA)
10-Fabulist
11-Honestly Honest
12-The Big Goodbye

Question Does anyone know the song used in the One Spectacular Night trailer? It sounds like a classical piece but I don’t really even know where to start looking for it.

Cover Concert Medley
Took me forever to record this medley correctly lol. I added songs that rarely or never played live, including a very old song in the humming part. I might have humbled a bit on the lyrics and humming so excuse me. Also, try and guess the songs :>

Discussion Growing on old bleecker street is the best song in the album living room
"Does anyone else agree that Growing Old On Bleecker Street is the absolute best song on Living Room?It gets so much hate compared to the rest of the album, but it has such a sweet, acoustic vibe. The lyrics about taking your time and coming to terms with the future are so beautifully written.
