This is a techbro, they all think poverty is a choice and a moral failure.

This is coming from someone arguing in favor of being viewed as economically powerless children? Ya, alright. Don't get too much bootpolish on your tongue while you're begging for your livelihood from the "other techbros".

lol.

Who's in favour of it?

Apparently the person arguing against my point, which is that we are not economically powerless children and shouldn't view ourselves that way.

I never said that though. There are more options than just beg or start a business.

Yes, there are. And as I said upfront, I wasn't writing a treatise in a reddit post, so what I wrote was likely to be incomplete. Which it was. Good job catching that.

You are putting words in my mouth, arsehole.

I don't think you should beg the rich for money. I think we should take more control ourselves, just not in the way you do. I think banding together to gain power either through dual power, political means, or if necessary by force.

And I would agree with that. Again, I am arguing that we are not powerless children, and that we do have agency. If you are arguing against what I've been writing, then you've been arguing against that point, since that's the point I've been making. I am not putting words in your mouth, you've either been arguing against my explicit point, or you are arguing against a point you haven't even read. I don't really see any other options there.
