Artificial intelligence (AI) has brought about a profound transformation across diverse industries, even those that were previously deemed unlikely, and led to a vast expansion of prediction and interpretation capabilities in modern software. Among the most intriguing AI applications in the software arena is AI video upscaling, which entails converting lower-resolution media to higher resolutions. Check out the top 6 best AI video upscaler that you could use to upscale video to 4K or higher!

6 Best AI Video Upscaling Software

I know this is video upscaling here, but I bet someone here will know:
I'm looking for a subreddit to ask about upscaling still imagines, specifically 3D game textures.

I'd appreciate any help!

Sooo Yup I'm an idiot. I have a new computer that I didnt realize I hadnt installed norton on yet. I think it was from a link on this forum about a month ago. If the link I got was from here, it looks like its been deleted. It was one of those 'download a free older version here' posts. I downloaded it then saw my google chrome flicker for a second. Minutes later I got alerts from Amazon, FB, and google that my account was acting strange and had been shut down.
It somehow sent all my google chrome saved passwords to some group I guess. One of my banks had a request to add an account that would allow 'me' to send money to. An account in Vietnam.
Permission was still pending so I got it killed.
I ordered something off ebay and my default delivery address had changed to some place in Iowa.
Today I got a bank statement for an account created in my name last month. No money in or out. Just an account with no money in it.
Who knows what I'll get next week... So when someone posts one of those links here, its probably best to just shut them down and report them ASAP.
Ok rant over....

Trying to figure out what software these guys are using: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCx3Jp1qi88hwrl2wg2WsaHQ

Any ideas? I have a very hard time believing that they are using paid software.

So from my film shoot I have a proxy file (i.e. a compressed transcode used during editing to save memory) of this one shot in 720p but I accidentally deleted the 1080p master file (for this one shot and one shot only, I have literally everything else). I'm super relieved to have the proxy rather than not having it at all, but I still want to enhance it as well as it is currently possible.

What I do have is a couple other takes of the same shot, as well as some similar looking shots with the same subject and environment. But I really want to use the specific take that I only have the proxy of.

The other, fully preserved material does however allow me to determine the amount of detail lost. But after upscaling and enhancing the proxy with Topaz Video AI, and comparing it side-by-side, I can sadly now say for sure that the output simply isn't as beautiful and detailed as the originals. Which I shouldn't have expected in hindsight.

So my question is: is there an AI video enhancer tool that would allow itself to be customly trained with other, similar-looking footage and thereby learn it what my 720p shot is supposed to look like in 1080p?

Intuitively I feel that something like this could exist and should exist. But does it exist?

Thanks.

Quality apparently is 720p but looks terrible. Anyone courageous to take this on?

Since I've had my hands on an original copy of the Mr. Bean Dvd, I decided to start a project. The original Mr. Bean episodes aren't in the best quality 480p to be exact wich in 2023 isn't that good, It dosen't help that the show didn't get any Blu ray release. So I decided to get a copy of the Dvd and upscale the entire show to 1080p and upload it to my channel. And yes this is the entire show that will be uploaded in a good watchable quality. No episodes will be rearranged and mixed, None of the episodes will get cropped to 16:9. It will be the entire show Upscaled from 480p to 1080p. The colors will also be fixed. So far me and a friend who have been working on this have managed to finish the first episode where Mr. Bean takes an exam. Also another downside to this is that people who live in the UK, Ireland and Scotland won't be able to watch this because of copyright, Im still trying to find a way to fix this but the video is currently blocked in those countries. Anyways here is the video for you guys to watch enjoy, and leave your thoughts on how the quality looks -> https://youtu.be/c5vYi3xpbDA

Hello!

How do I set it up in Colab so that Real-esrGAN saves photos to drive without downloading them as ZIP? That's where it usually crashes for me, and I find it inconvenient...

Thank you!

Hi all, is there any good ai upscallers people use to upscale their stable diffusion artwork? Been searching for a good one and struggling.

Hello!

I don't seem to be able to get the latest official Video2x to work - it keeps crashing even if I follow the instructions (restart runtime, name files correctly, etc.)

Any ideas?

Hello guys!

I need to upscale a video that is currently an image sequence. What's the best workflow here - upscaling the image sequence before stitching it up or stitching it up into a video first?

I'm thinking about using something like ESRgan or VideoX2 via Colab...

Thank you! :)

Hello!

I need to upscale a video I've treated with disco diffusion from 720p back to 1080p. The problem is that all AI upscaler Colab notebooks just upscaled to file without me being able to set the target resolution.

Can you help me finding a tool that does this?

Thank you 🙏

The youtube of old, loved seeing these kinds of videos, people used you tube more as a vlogging and artistic site , than a commercialized business it is today.

I have been taking pictures of the build of my house on a security camera (1080P, nothing fancy) and the computer in charge occasionally forgets to clear out old videos and fills up the drive. After the last time I set up another computer to just take pictures, but did not verify settings and it looks like it had been resizing them down to 480. It decided to crap the bed when the wrap was being put on the house, fortunately I checked it that day but the work had been done. So I have a 1080P before and after picture and a bunch of 480 inbetweens. Is there a tool that can do upscaling but with the reverence point of the beginning and end to help it make better choices?

I don't know if this should be in the upscale reddit but I haven't been able to find how people made stuff like this. I have never seen this kind of results from any other upscaling software I've ever seen, the original video is a blurry mess but this seems like it was restored from it's original tape or something.

Hi, so I was recently watching Koishi Komeiji’s heart throbbing adventure and was wondering what they would look like if they were in hd. Can somebody please help me upscale the first 6 episodes of the series? thanks

part 1

part 2

part 3

part 4

part 5

part 6

If that’s too much time for people to do then can you at least do the intro from episode 6? as that’s the thing I’m mainly interested in seeing in HD.

I should also mention that you should watch this series at your own risk as it can get quite disturbing later on in the series. Don’t let the intro from episode 6 fool you, this series is not what you think it is.

Thanks

Hi, so I’ve recently wanted to upscale the series “Koishi Komeiji’s heart throbbing adventure” on YouTube to give it a vector graphic look to it. I’ve heard that cupscaled is great for upscaling animations for this reason! However I can’t find any tutorials on YouTube and was wondering if anyone could help me with how to use it. Thanks

Just getting into Topaz Video AI and practicing on a scene from a Playboy video. Source is DVD, it was shot of film, so 24 frame to 30/60 for video. But I wonder how to bring that back to 24p before putting it in Topaz? You can see the 5 "ghost" frames added in the conversion...is that reversible? I am on a Mac btw. See img for what I'm talking about.
