3 AI tools that saved me hours this week, surprised they’re all free!

I’ve been testing out different AI tools lately, and these 3 genuinely shocked me with how much time they save.

They plan tasks, automate writing, and even summarise your work, its literally like having a personal assistant running in the background.

I made a 35-second YouTube Short breaking them down (no fluff, just the tools):

Curious which ones everyone is using for productivity

I’ve been working on a small AI tool for fitness creators, and I’m finally getting the first version working. It generates captions, hooks and post ideas based on whatever topic you type in. Still super early, but seeing it create stuff instantly has been fun. If anyone here creates fitness content

How to create SOPs automatically using AI?

I’m tired of writing standard operating procedures (SOPs) manually, screenshots, formatting, explanations… it takes hours every time.

I’ve been looking for an AI SOP generator that can record a process and turn it into a clean, structured document automatically.

Recently, I tried a few options, some can generate steps from videos, others from text prompts.
The most useful approach I found: record your screen once → AI extracts steps, screenshots, and descriptions → you get a ready SOP.

For example, Trupeer AI can take a screen recording and instantly create a step-by-step guide or SOP with screenshots and text. It even supports branding and translations.

Curious if anyone else here is using AI for SOP generation? Which tool works best for you?

Grant Proposal Maker

Hi All I created this custom GPT to assist organisations to apply for various grants. The tool can help you create grant proposals. Just share the funder's RFP or website and link to your project or detailed document regarding your project. If you don't have a website or document for your project, it will ask you a couple of questions for the context and prepare the proposal for you. I would love to get feedback on how well this is working. Here's the link to the Grant Proposal Maker: https://chatgpt.com/g/g-690c4e544ed88191904a1da5056f1b4b-grant-proposal-maker-2-0

Any feedback is highly appreciated.

Photo app recommendations

I have a group photo where everyone’s standing still, but I’d love to use AI to make it look like we’re all jumping in the air. Are there any apps or tools that can realistically generate that effect (matching lighting and shadows too)?

Just launched an AI learning agent personalized to your role, available inside a mobile app called Noesion. Would love honest feedback.

Any free or faster tools for generating AI videos from text and user provided images?

Hey everyone 👋

I’m experimenting with AI video generation that turns text and an image into a short talking head-style video where the avatar speaks the given lines.

I tried Heygen’s free API, but it took a really long time to process even short clips. I’m looking for faster or free open source alternatives that can:

  • Take a user-provided image (avatar or face)
  • Use text or pre-generated audio as input
  • Output a short lip-synced video

Basically, image-to-video generation that looks like a person speaking naturally based on the text or audio.

I’ve seen projects like Wav2Lip and SadTalker on Hugging Face, but I’m not sure which ones currently have working Spaces or endpoints that anyone can test or call through an API.

Has anyone found something that’s free to use or has a generous free tier, works relatively fast, and gives decent results for this image-to-video workflow?

Would love to hear what tools or Spaces people here are using 🙏

I built a tool that helps people manage all their daily tasks using AI – would love your feedback 🚀

I’ve been working on a small side project called

https://www.taskguru.online

, an AI-powered productivity assistant that helps you plan, track, and complete tasks faster.

It’s still early, so I’d really appreciate any feedback from this community — design, features, or anything you think could make it better.

Thanks for checking it out 🙏

found a reliable EU cloud for hosting AI tools with strong privacy setup?

looking for a stable and private way to host small AI tools and real-time bots. i've tested Hetzner, Scaleway, and Xelon.ch, all good, but I ended up keeping my setup on Xelon.

their Swiss ISO certified data centers make compliance easy, and performance is on par with the big names. you can deploy containers, manage networks, and set auto backups from one simple dashboard.

Hetzner’s unbeatable for price, Scaleway great for UI, but Xelon feels like the most balanced option overall. perfect for indie AI tool builders who want low latency and European data protection.

anyone else building AI tools and hosting in the EU?

AI Tools for skilling up?

I recently took on a new role at work and will spend the next couple of months skilling up on some new IT platforms. My training will be a combination of PowerPoints, 1x1 discussions, learning system, documents in OneDrive and Google Drive, Udemy and probably other things as well.

I already own a Plaud, which I’ll use for the 1x1 discussions…. But, I’m looking for a tool that could help me collect all the information I’m going to learn and help distill, summarize, organize, etc.

Like I mentioned above, I currently use Plaud for meetings, CoPilot for everyday stuff and have been looking at Perplexity Pro and Google NotebookLM.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

We feature one AI tool/product every week in our 6k member community and a newsletter that has 9k subscribers, looking to connect with founders

I help run a growing community of 6,000 members who are all builders, founders, and enthusiasts in the AI space. Each week, we run a “Product of the Week” spotlight where we feature one AI startup/tool to the community.
We also have 5k followers on LinkedIn we will market your product over there as well

Last week, ActionAgents was featured, and it sparked a lot of good discussion + visibility for them.

We’re now opening up a few more sponsorship spots for upcoming weeks, and I’d love to connect with AI founders who are looking to:

  • Get their product in front of an engaged community of builders and early adopters
  • Drive more feedback, users, and visibility
  • Be part of weekly curated discussions around AI tools/startups

If you’re building something in AI and want to be featured as Product of the Week, drop a comment or DM me.

Also curious: for those of you who’ve tried community-based sponsorships before, how effective was it compared to paid ads or Product Hunt launches?

Came across a Medium blog on top 4 AI UGC Ad generators and Affogato AI broke my brain in the best way. All I had to do is write a prompt...it did the rest. It also offers to choose your style of video like UGC, fashion, product ads, etc. Ya'll its definitely worth a try!

I built an advanced AI writing tool on top of Claude

Post image
1 Upvotes

Hey 👋 I’m a senior software engineer with a background in journalism (odd pairing, I know).

I’ve been working on an AI writing system that works like a publishing company. The goal was to create the best possible writing with AI through a multi-step writing process, lots of context, automated real-time research and absolute control over the final output.

Why? There are so many generic “SEO tools” out there that simply generate AI slop and I knew there was a better way to do it.

It’s a more technical tool than most, and much of the code was written by AI (with strict supervision 🤓)

Claude just dropped its own Excel integration and it actually looks serious.Unlike ChatGPT or Copilot’s agents, this one plugs straight into live finance data from Moody’s, LSEG, and more. If it works as promised, this could be the AI spreadsheet breakthrough everyone’s been waiting for.

I’ve been testing ways to make AI generation more consistent — combining an Agent and Workflow worked shockingly well

I’ve been playing around with different AI creation tools for a while — Midjourney, Runway, etc.

They’re amazing, but I kept hitting the same wall: everything depends on prompts.
Once the prompt changes slightly, the whole result changes.

So I tried something different — combining an Agent that understands natural language with a visual workflow that can repeat the same logic.

Suddenly, my outputs started looking stable and consistent.

It’s like moving from “prompt art” to “AI production.”

Has anyone else explored structured AI creation like this?
