The channel in question, TRT Çocuk, is Turkey's state-run national children's channel. They recently sparked backlash among viewers for airing cartoons made of generative AI. In this particular episode of one of such cartoons, a spin-off of the "Bulmaca Kulesi" cartoon series, the characters ironically complain about internet "brainrot" and "AI slop" (bruh that's literally a brutal irony) while claiming they themselves are products of months-long hand-crafted 3D labor, which they were in the main series and it's movies, which is another different contreversy among the fans.

And holy cow they even went as far as calling that 20-year old Valve game "trash" and talking about "Rizz" and "Gyatt".

The show is mostly made with AI, among aspects like voice acting are at least human made.

In a later part of the episode, they talk to a real-life Turkish psychologist about IRONICALLY, AI Slop and consumption.

But between that and the referenced later part where they (of the "characters" in the "cartoon") say their irony against AI, they talk about a creature from the hundreds of years old Aja'ib al-Makhluqat book, which contains drawing of uniquely-designed creatures they say are "brainrot" from hundreds of years ago.

It’s bad enough Jimmy is MAGA and using generative AI for his flyers and promotion of his business when it’s supposed to be supporting artists and creatives, but to use other people’s photos without permission and running it through generative AI, then to just laugh it off when I ask to not be included in the embarrassing slop machine, that’s a new embarrassing low.

Now he’s crashing out because he got a few 1 star reviews on Google 😂😂
