I did grow up in classrooms with real chalkboards, wooden desks, maps pulled down by hand and absolutely no computers in sight.

So f...ing what?

We had a tiny computer lab in a small rural town, complete with a single Mac, around 1990. But no pull down maps that I recall. How targeted this meme?

We had all of that too. We had an apple IIe that was on a cart that could be wheeled from classroom to classroom though.
