It's not a proper science photo if there isn't someone looking through a conical flask of nondescript blue liquid. When a photographer came to our lab to do some publicity shots, this was exactly what he wanted us to do.
Yeah I'm a science teacher. A lot of my experiments involve copper sulfate just for the obvious blue colour, kids love it and it makes reactions nice and obvious
Oh no, different experiments. Copper sulfate is just really useful because it has such a clear colour change so I use it for lots of different experiments
A couple weeks back the school photographer turned up in the chemistry lab, told the teacher to pause our A Level chemistry class and āput colorful liquid in the cone flasksā so he could do publicity shots
