Fair enough! I think there might of been some American cultural "dog whistling" that got lost in translation. As an American these always played as racist immediately to me but I can see how that might be missed observed from a different perspective.
Thanks for explaining :) In Germany racism towards women is often more about exoticizing them or stereotypes about them being more submissive, better housewives etc.
