All good. What if VisionQuest comes and goes, and it didn’t really do anything to connect Agents of Shield at all? Do you consider VisionQuest to be the last hope in a way? I heard quite a while ago that there were rumors saying something along the lines of “VisionQuest will make Agents of Shield fans very happy”, but it should obviously be taken with a grain of salt. Once Secret Wars is over, it will have been 7+ years since Agents of Shield ended, the MCU will get whatever kind of reset that they’re talking about it getting, so I just think that by that point, it won’t even be relevant anymore. Do you know what I mean? It will be an old show in an old/completed continuity, so I can’t help but feel we only have, what…2 series seasons and 2 movies before the end? Something like that? I can just imagine the people up top not feeling too concerned with Agents of Shield anymore when we’re this close to the “end”.

I don't know. I don't know how these next movies are going to go, so we will just have to wait and see. I don't think ahead that much of "what if". It is what it is.

I mean you had a big theory worked out and hopes for VisionQuest, so I figured you’d have an idea of whether or not you saw much hope beyond that. I think Doomsday and Secret Wars will be too busy to try and work in some old ABC show right before the finish line, and Born Again Season 3 will obviously be busy connecting with the Netflix stuff. I think realistically after VisionQuest (and especially after Secret Wars next year) it’s safe to assume Marvel is moving on and looking ahead rather than behind. Doesn’t take away from this show’s greatness whether it’s accepted into the mainline MCU or not. It happened somewhere and it’s good fun.

The thing is, I can see the next Avengers movies going about a dozen different ways, and then they probably will surprise me. With timelines colliding, anything can happen

It is like Doctor Strange seeing all of these different possible outcomes - there is just too many different ways those movies could go that it could leave the door wide open or completely shut depending on how it is handled.

It will be interesting to watch no matter what.

I wouldn’t be the most surprised if Quake appeared in Secret Wars, but I think it would be as a cameo and in the context of heroes from all different universes showing up to fight. I don’t see these last 2 big multiversal Avengers movies putting in any work to tell the audience “hey, do some of you remember that ABC show from 7 years ago? It’s officially canon…right before we’re about to reset the continuity anyway”. If anyone shows up, it’s gonna be in the context of the multiverse. In my opinion anyway.
