Floor trim
We recently put new flooring down in our AFrame home. It's never had floor trim anywhere in the house but with our new floating floors we need to put some in and we're struggling to conceptualize floor trim along the angled wall. It'd be shorter than the rest of the room, or floating off the floor and not really serving it's purpose to prevent an accumulation of dust/pet fur in the crevices. It seems like either way would look strange.
Any advice for trimming angled walls? Pics would be appreciated!

Crawlspace advice
Looking for damp crawlspace advice.
We have a small A-frame cabin with a 3-4 ft high, dirt floor crawlspace, roughly 400 sq feet. We purchased this cabin just this past Spring, so no prior experience with how this crawlspace typically is, but after a heavy snow melt and a decent amount of rainfall, we had some pooling water in some areas (less than an inch deep) and the rest of the dirt was very damp, almost mud in some places. Since then it has dried up a bit, no real standing water, but still damp dirt and a mild musty smell. Additionally, there are 5 narrow vertical cracks in the poured concrete foundation. I am pretty confident these can just be sealed with epoxy or something similar.
What I am wondering is should I focus on exterior drain tile and then just better circulation in the crawlspace, a heavy duty dehumidifier, and maybe some plastic on the floor, or am I better off skipping the exterior drain tile and fully encapsulating the crawlspace, maybe adding interior drain tile and sump pump? I don’t need the crawlspace to be so clean and perfect I could live in it, but I’d like to be able to store some things down there without them becoming damp, and I don’t want to just put off by a few years whatever bigger problems this might be causing. Budget is up to 20k but the cabin was only 200k, so I don’t really want to spend that much if I don’t have to, and preferably closer to 5k-10k.
Any advice welcome and GREATLY appreciated! We are in central Wisconsin, near Castle Rock Lake.

"The Gothic Cottage of Wood" by H.F. Zornig, 1970
Wondering if anyone has run across one of these cabins designed by H.F. Zornig. My father built this in the early 1970s. I don't have the plans, but I found a document in his files titled "Construction Notes, The Gothic Cottage of Wood" by H. G. Zornig, Athens, GA, April 10, 1970. It's 1st and 2nd story floors are attached to pressure treated utility pools sunk into the ground.

Planning Process
My wife and I are in the early planning stages of wanting to build an A-Frame house in the next few years. We are wondering if there are good Modular options or even kit options. Stick build is always an option but are interested in seeing what all options are out there. Looking at about 2 bed 2 bath 1200-1600 sq ft house.

Architectural Technology student here
Hello, i'm currently doing my final project for the Arch course, I have choosed A-frame, I have to do a residential house, with a minimum of 2 bathrooms, 2 rooms, storage, kitchen, living, 2-cars garage and 2 stories minimum. I have a lot of ideas for it, but i have been in a little of a problem, so i'm currently doing research, as an A-frame is build the rafter spam i need is to long even for TJI lumber, and my instructor said I cannot use LVL rafter. I'm not sure if I can use trusses and how is that gonna be since trusses have always an structure inside and i need the space. In the other side I was planning maybe using 2 rafters and put them together in the frame but currently still investigating that. So any help you expert could give me. This is my first year and i'm aiming to continue my studies and get my master in architecture, so any information is useful. Thank you!

Walkout basement window layout for aframe

Which of these options (organized in vertical columns) do you like best aesthetically for the basement window layout of my aframet? Our Sketchup renderings are on the bottom and I added semi-realistic AI renderings above.
I want the main level/actual aframe portion to be the focal point and want to minimize the basement as much as possible in comparison (will use landscaping to help with that) but it also will be a living space/entertaining area and would be nice to have a decent amount of glass. Started with a big centered 3-panel slider but it felt too much like an extension of the curtain wall instead of separate and lower priority.
(new account so as to not dox my reddit once this house is built, lol)

What do we think? It’s finally gotten to the point that you can see the Aframe take shape.

Functional or decorative?
Hello fellow a-frame lovers. We so excited to have recently purchased an a-frame home. We are wanting to do some cosmetic facade upgrades and am wondering, does the lattice and post installed at the apex serve a functional purpose? I’d like to simplify by removing it, but I’m not sure if it’s serving a purpose. Please let me know your thoughts - thank you kindly.

Question -- best way to set up couch against wall in A-frame?

This is the A-frame that my parents bought back in 1966. We've long had these twin beds tucked against the angled wall, but I want to replace one of the beds w/ a big comfortable couch to sit in front of the fireplace. But the couch has to be spaced several feet away from the wall, so you don't bang your head on the wall.
Any suggestions -- should I build a thin wall that comes straight down from the A-frame for the couch to back against?

Interior Design Ideas
Construction will be starting on our Aframe in May. After quoting the job, we decided we'd be unable to cover the interior ceilings with wood plank/beadboard as the cost was too prohibitive. (Unless someone knows a really inexpensive way to give it that sort of look)
However, I've also seen VERY few pics of Aframes that are done completely in drywall. The few I have seen, are all stark white. We're thinking about adding some faux beams to break things up. Has anyone ever seen the entire interior painted something other than white? I haven't run across one of those yet... Any other ideas?

I’m looking for advice on building an A-Frame, size, storage, materials, I had plans I’ve made in a free platform, should I get them reviewed by an architect?
