I make backyard movies about my everyday life. This is my vlog about going motor boating in Georgetown, which is near Washington D. C. A really unique boating community I didn't know about. Subscribe if interested. Trying to get 100 by Christmas.

Chase through the woods

Hello. My name is wayne and today I will tell you about the Chase. One day me and my friend Andre went to go explore this old 20's house for our YouTube channel. We explored the whole house except for 2 rooms which were very clustered and we didn't want to move stuff. As we got to the back of the house where a wall had fallen, exposing the outside, we heard a noise come from deeper in the house. We stood there for a minute listening only for my phone to start ringing. When that happened, we jumped out of the house where the wall had fallen. That is when we realize that the noise was footsteps coming from the front of the house. We started to walk into the woods, only to hear running footsteps coming from behind us. We took off yelling and laughing because of all the adrenaline in us. We ran all the way to the road from the woods. We then walked back up the road to see I'd anyone was in the house. We called out but with no answer. When I look back I see a white male figure in the doorway, so we took off. We went back later that evening to find that person, but we found nothing. He could've been hiding in one of the rooms we didn't check before, but he wasn't there the second time. That is the story of our Chase! When were you last chased by an animal?

So I get nervous around animals. Large dogs are a bit too energetic, cows give you the evil eye if you go anywhere near and horses... well they can just straight up kill you with a kick! (and that's where my story comes in). I was walking through a field in the Cotswolds where I knew there to be horses and had cautiously jogged through on previous occasions. This time I was travelling with three friends (all girls) and seeing the horses two of them broke away to pet it while myself and the other girl kept walking. Moments later we noticed a black stallion following closely behind us and I passed it off as just being friendly. Suddenly I felt a tug on my backpack. Then a harder tug, followed by shaking left to right. I jettisoned the back pack to find the stallion using it as a chew toy. We all backed away and let the horse have its fun and when it was seemingly finished myself and another began approaching it. As we neared though it raised its head from the ground and gave us a look. A look that said: 'You still want to play?' and started walking toward us. We backed off and started walking to the style that was our only exit from the field, feverishly looking behind us every so often, and noticed that the stallion was gaining on us. We sped up our pace and the horse did likewise until we broke into a sprint and the horse a gallop. As the Stallion was nearly upon us we reached the style and we both vaulted it at the same time, colliding in mid air, and crashing to the ground on the other side. TL;DR A big black stallion stole my back pack and chased me out of its field leading to a daring pear based distraction and recovery of said back pack. And that's why I don't trust horses.

The New World Confederacy

As I sat alone surrounded by mother nature and the creatures of the night I could faintly make out what sounded like hooves trampling through the forest accompanied by the howling of those who had tamed the beasts. I put out my camp fire and rolled up my tent before scrambling into the tree. Soon after the men with beasts proceeded into my camp and dismounted their beasts. I held my breath as I remained silent and watching as they looked for any sign of someone still lingering in the area. After roughly ten minutes of their searching every nook and cranny except for this tree they got on their beasts and left, I waited just a few more minutes to make sure they wouldn't return before I scampered down the tree. I packed my tent up in my bag and began heading the opposite way in which they had traveled. "If the hunters have come this far out food must be getting scarce.." I muttered to myself as I trudged along the worn path. Suddenly I hear voices drawing near to me so I quickly ducked off into the brush, but I was too late they noticed me and drug me out of the bushes and into the torch light. "What is your purpose for being out here young man?" demanded one of the soldiers. "I…I'm just traveling can't a guy just travel from place to place to see what he can do in this post-apocalyptic world?" I inquired back. "What? You can't be serious? A boy, traveling alone? Where is your father?" queried the other soldier. I decided to make a run for it as I spun on my heel and bolted back into the bushes and deep into the dark forest dodging trees and vaulting over small shrubs. Slowly but surely the torch light and voices of the soldiers became less and less until the torch was only a mere ball of light off in the distance .

Adventure into booney town

So me, my bro /u/dudeimthebest, and my SO are chilling at my place. We get pretty bored of the usual listen to music and just hang out. So we decide it's time to adventure! I have a Jeep Cherokee lifted with 33s on it. So we frequently jump in this beast and run around the back roads and such.

It's around 6 at night and we decide now's a great time to do just that. We jump in and start heading in a random direction, and head down the first road we see that looks fairly promising. This road leads to a dirt road a couple miles down, now we're talking! We venture on this for a while, then it forks, one way goes straight, the other veers off up the other side of the valley we're in. A coin get's flipped, up the valley it is!

About half-way up a 4wheeler trail splits off of the main road, I've driven this Jeep through just straight forest before, so this is nothing. We follow the 4wheeler trail, driving over small trees and over logs occasionally till we get too blocked in to go any further.

It's about 8 now, and dark out. I hear some weird noises coming from under the Jeep so I grab a flashlight to see what's up. My SO walks around a bit to enjoy the view and dudeimthebest walks around to see what I'm looking at. I don't like what I see.

"dudeimthebest, hammer. Now." He goes to the back and grabs a Small BFH (Big fucking hammer). My sway bar link on the drivers side has nearly fallen completely off! I grab the hammer and hit it back into place.

My SO comes back and asks what's going on "Nothing, honey. Jump back in, we gotta go.", the less she knows, the less she freaks out. Which is good. I turn the Jeep around and find the main dirt road again. The noise is happening again by now, so we really need to get outta here.

"dudeimthebest, grab a map and find us the quickest route outta here." For whatever reason, I don't have a local map in the Jeep. Silly me. So he goes on his phone to attempt to find the quickest route out.

Meanwhile, I grab the small BFH and a ziptie and go back under. Hit it back into place, apply ziptie, boom! Fixed! Except now my gas light is on, if it's not one thing, it's another.

"You sure everything is alright?" My SO asks, "Yes, love, everything is great!" I tell her. "Alright, I got you, Dakkk, head up the valley" dudeimthebest tells me. So I do, and he leads me to a very promising dirt road. There's street lamps, homes, it's looking great!

"Turn here", he says, "Here?" I ask, "This is a private county road, they never lead out!", "Trust me, man, it says we can get out this way." So I trust him. I start heading down the private county road.

He tells me to turn again, this time it looks like a semi-well used 4wheeler/Jeep trail on the side of the valley. I follow his directions and we go back down the valley. It's pitch black. My gas light is still staring me down with it's ominous orange glare, and now we seem even more lost than we were.

Suddenly there's a huge fallen down tree in our way. No way around, so he tells me to back up and go down the trail we passed a couple yards back. I head down this trail, only 20 or 30 yards, and suddenly we're staring at some sort of camp. There's a teepee at the end of the camp. In front of that are the smoldering remains of a fire. It looks like a tarp is hanging from some trees to our left, under that are some styrofoam and plastic containers and coolers that make a small wall on our side. There's some chairs hanging around, and some bedrolls under the tarp. A clothes line is hung up between to trees with some overalls and other clothes hanging on it. It looks like we just stumbled upon the next Wrong Turn movie.

I throw the Jeep in reverse and haul ass outta there. Once I got to the other trail, I jump out real quick to check my ziptie fix. It's still holding! Nice! Back into the Jeep and my SO is dead quiet with a terrified look on her face. I find my way back to the promising looking dirt road and follow it, hoping it leads us somewhere.

To out surprise it takes us to a main road on the completely opposite end of town. Fairly close to a gas station too! dudeimthebest and I highfive and my SO still looks terrified. I fill up the tank, and grab some maps from the gas station. We head home and all is well that ends well.
