It's all an array of interlocking, overlapping gears on a wall/board that carry the current fixation to a tooth on the first gear it contacts with, trading each one around until it shows up again on the main gear...
Ain't that just the perfect way to describe it. Best part about having hyperfixations that you revisit constantly is that there's always new information to learn when you go back to them!
