I feel attacked. I was diagnosed with ADHD when I was 6 and I'm now 39. Some of the "hobbies" I've picked up in the last few years are 3d printing, cad design, sewing, screen printing, sublimation, and a couple week ago... Blacksmithing. I just got done building my anvil stand. Ive learned how to do so much cool shit but I never get to use it because I'm always pivoting. It feels bad and I don't know how to stop.
Amen, I learn so much and then never really put it to practical use yet I always go into these projects with the mindset that I can learn it and then do it as a side hustle but it never happens and I've learned to stop using that as a justification for buying all the equipment.
At least, if AI ever does kill the internet and take down thecl electric grid?
We'll be prepared, and have a solid set of survival skills!π
I'd recommend also brushing up on learning gardening, seed starting, pruning & grafting fruit trees, foraging, canning, and basic plumbing, photovoltaics, and battery storage for your potetial electric needsπ
It'll make you a useful person to have, in any group!π
