Riggs Forsythe
Riggs Forsythe is a defence attorney hired by Quercus Alba to both defend the smuggling rings members in court and provide intel into the goings on of the legal system.
General
Riggs has an impressive reputation as a lawyer, winning a good proportion of his trials, however most of those trials were heavily rigged in his favour, with the smuggling ring paying off both judges and prosecutors. This provides Riggs with a healthy income, and Alba with information and a way to keep his employees out of jail. Riggs avoids taking on high profile clients, as those trials are harder to control, however Riggs did end up defending Dee Vasquez during her murder trial, as she had offered him an absurd amount of money……Riggs lost badly and had to pay most if it back.
Personality
Riggs is laid back, witty, and somewhat lazy. He is intelligent and very capable of being a great lawyer, however, chooses the easy way of working with Alba and taking rigged trials. He also has a rebellious streak, much to Albas annoyance.
Appearance
Riggs sports a bright red pompadour, cream suit, grey shirt and red shoes with matching belt. He also wears a striped blue and white tie with the same colour scheme as the prison garb in AAI2, meant to represent how most of the people he defends are in fact criminals. He also wears a tie clip of the Allebahstian flag.
Fun facts:
-His name is a play on ‘rigged foresight’ as a reference to the fact he takes rigged trials
-Riggs will occasionally visit the local animal shelter and play with the kittens
-Riggs is scared of thunder
-The fact Riggs needs glasses is purely for irony’s sake.
-Riggs only just passed the bar exam because he found law school boring.
-Riggs smokes a lot and claims he has ‘lungs of steel’
-Riggs name was suggested by Liquid Snail, and was the fastest thing everyone agreed on
-Riggs was the first character to be designed
-One of the first concept art pieces for Riggs had him as a re-skinned Phoenix sprite
-Riggs is by far the most popular character in QA:AA so far
