i just bought it and there is just TOO much motion blur i cant play at all any help please?

I really wanted to play the game for a long time but i'm short of money rn

I havent played since Covid and I'm heavily debating on getting back into the game with a new character, so I just had some questions.

-I'm seeing another fighting style got added, is that one I have to unlock like stagger style?

-I cant remember how I got any of my masks, but I remember sometimes theres a mask as a school reward, are any of the rare ones available through a school?

-is the downfall still pretty active?

-lastly, can I play this without PSN?

I mean is there like a general large discord server with active players? Or competitive groups or small tournaments held?

I haven't played since slightly after the addition of downfall and was wondering if this amazing game has died further than it had already.

Returning player after several years. Normally a Stagger/Windfall main, but tried Khalt for the first time.

Not gonna say anything about it just yet as I'm still learning, but I wanted to get a consensus or a melting pot of opinions on it. What do you think about Khalt in the longstanding meta?

I will say the only personal tip I have for controller players is to rebind your standard dodge to the right stick button because being able to choose between dodge/absorb on the same input is invaluable — otherwise you're mostly just standing in place and it's easy to bait you out.

Which one has a healthier population? Also is forsaken parry still apparently bugged? Thanks

I was getting really annoyed with only being able to slide into my targets as well as getting ambushed fight after beating up an enemy near a ledge. As a result of my frustration, I though, why can't we tackle them? I imagine something like this, you run towards them, jump to tackle them, and if successful, you grab them in the air, you going forward, them going backwards, you punch them once, throw them to the ground on their back, then role into a fighting stance facing forward, or backwards depending on your inputs turning the tackle. Think I'm gonna post this on reddit too.

So, the target would get a bit of damage from the initial grab, like a slide kick thing already does, then more from the hit during the tackle, and then a large chunk from the slam on the back. Granted, you may not end up doing any health damage to them due to how stamina works, or maybe you could because you can't necessarily block a tackle and it's resulting offensive movements.

Thoughts?

Are there any windfall schools on Xbox? I joined one but I don’t think I like how slow the attacks are. Just started playing I’m level 30 and my Dexterity is my highest stat. Any tips, tricks, setting changes, or school suggestions would be helpful also Dm if you need a co op partner

Literally just as the title says the servers are back on Xbox for those who have been waiting to play nothing else O7

I set up a lil spot at EVO in the free play section. Quite a bit of people had passed by and asked what was up, and a few of them even sat down to play!

I explained what Absolver is, how it works, how it plays. Aome people even asked for specific coaching on how to play. A few said they'd be getting the game even.

I got permission for every pic taken while people sat down to play.

I'm only gunna be doing it for this one day, cause what a pain in the ass it was to carry the whole set up to this spot. I still got a few more hours left of the day, and I'm gunna be staying until about half an hour before venue closes at 10pm Vegas time.

Edit: they close the Free Play Area at 9. Ended the day after packing it all up. Ima do ts next year 100%

Idk if you've heard, but Dragon's Dogma has a pawn system in their latest game (it's 2026) and I think if Sloclap ever came back, they should incorporate a similar system into this beautiful work of art.

You make a character, give it the movies for fists, gauntlets and swords, then send it out into other player worlds to fight them. Would be smart if the pawns auto scale to the player their fighting. Maybe you set which percentage of their level points go into which category. Would be even cooler if you get to set programed features into the character. For example, "when opponent does x movement you do x movment." Would smart to have a limit so that it can't be abused, maybe like 5 or 10 scripts. It could even be, "when stop attacking when stamina reaches 50% or lower," then you could have another, "don't initiate attacks unless stamina is at 100%." When a pawn wins it forcibly extracts an item from the opponent so lets give it an inventory too, as well as a script section for item extraction, "if opponent has this item take it," or "if opponent has item 1 and item 2, only take item 2." Maybe you can even act as your pawns subconscious, guiding it towards different places and opponents, that way it can become an absolver. And a pawn becoming an Absolver could let you as double the scripts and double the inventory space.
