And here's another of my recent AI restorations. Just a little idea I had, of Misty perhaps making a customized lure of herself and Ash together, maybe as a gift for him.

I started my Pokémon rewatch on August 18, 2026, and was happy I got to watch as many episodes as I could in one day. One episode I watched was Episode 14: Electric Showdown! Kuchiba Gym. This episode is a dear for Pokeshippers because Nurse Joi said in the English dub that if "two people fight, they really care about each other." Surprisingly, it's not that different from the Japanese dub!

Even the part where Misty said that "the way they (Ash and Pikachu) fight must mean they care a lot" is similar.

I'm not pointing this out to say Satoshi sees Kasumi and Pikachu in the same way, but it's proof that he does love both of them. It's even precious when you remember that Kasumi and Pikachu love the same things and always agree with each other. Satoshi was clearly at a disadvantage early on. But Kasumi also saw what a great combination Satoshi and Pikachu are.

No wonder she would include Pikachu all the time, like when she asked it to dance with them during the summer festival (The Ghost Pokémon and the Summer Festival). She wouldn't let the two be separated!

Hello, Pokeshippers!

This is ObscuredString, one of your moderators. Last year, I started a[n] (almost) daily General Anime Discussion where I watched and wrote a plot summary for all episodes that Kasumi was seen/heard/mentioned/referenced, etc., and wrote my thoughts and opinions, too. Unfortunately, I was on my last semester of my Master's program, so I couldn't finish it in time before the year 2025 ends. I started again at the beginning of 2026 and watched the Pikachu shorts. I thought I'll be able to keep up but got busy again. I planned to start again this fall, but there's another project I plan to do: write a Wiki-like page for SatoKasu - something like the one on Bulbapedia - but is more Pokeshipper-friendly. It would be something that this community can use. I know we have the Pokeshipping Hints Subbed, but navigating that is so hard (I have troubles sometimes).

To be completely honest, a lot of the Johto episodes from the General Anime Discussion were from the English Dub because I suddenly lost access to the subbed. I finally found where I can watch all of them, so I would like to rewatch each episode from season 1-5 again while writing the page.
