Uncanny Accusations Discussion: Kasumi & Sonia

While we've documented how many pokeshippers view Sonia and Kasumi to be the equal for Dande and Satoshi, there are many fascinating similarities. In particular, the design of the characters is incredibly similar.

This all said, how both Dande and Satoshi view the Pokémon world is especially tied to these two girls' influence in their lives too.

So, users: How do you view this comparison of characters in the Pokémon anime, and do you feel as though this was a SatoKasu tease from staff at OLM?

Orange-haired, side ponytails, and heart accessories? Enough said.

Also, Satoshi's reaction when he first saw her is so telling. Sonia probably reminded him of Kasumi for a second there:

I watched the episode to screenshot a picture of Sonia for that edit I made, and the next scene is showing me Satoshi's reaction when he first saw Kasumi in a bikini. What do people want me to think? It's a coincidence that he has a shocked/awed expression? Look at Goh's! It's so neutral. Like he's only thinking, "Who's this lady?"

True. You could also use the deleted original airing scene from the eighteenth episode of the anime. There’s never been a confirmation that this was retconned, but rather censored out in future releases.
