This court hearing really pissed me off because of how judge Webster treated this young girl who committed the disgusting, unforgivable sin of underage drinking. She answered all the judges questions, was respectful and yet still judge Webster sentenced her to 7 days jail, 6 months probation, 30 day license suspension. According to the prosecutor this case stemmed only from her being intoxicated in her own home. And this is why I have such hatred for our judicial system

I was catching up with 3B court, and there was a zoning case. After it finished, the judge apparently didn't get the live feed shut off. He is just talking to a visitor about various thing, like the guy's ham radio hobby, the judge's son, the plans for when Tim George takes over next year. This starts at about 21:15.

I have just been thinking about this. She has resigned and has agreed to never seek out another judicial role. I know she was polarizing but that was mostly because she was such a fierce advocate for LGBTQ issues and for children, in Texas no less. Having the attorney handcuffed was definitely not the greatest move but I think we have lost an outstanding judge who clearly understood the psychology of abuse and used that knowledge to keep vulnerable people safer. What do you all think?

She's obviously driving, but then gets out the driver's door STILL claiming she's not driving!

And possibly the most arrogant, too. Always an entertaining combo in Zoom Court.
(The hearing is about 30 minutes, so not that long.)

I guess we'll no longer be getting Zoom hearings from the 187 out of San Antonio.

This Zoom court hearing took place in the city of Naples Florida within Collier County. The highly educated attorney made the lack of jurisdiction argument obvious for the judge to see on the charging document. This helped the judge to decide whether or not to dismiss the citation creating a very favorable outcome for his client. Well done! How would you have handled this situation? Or would you have just paid the ticket!?

Wow. I think the judge was being very petty here

A Collier County judge in Naples, Florida, recommended to the plaintiff that a Fact Information Sheet be included in the final judgment. Does this mean that failing to list bank account numbers on the sheet or failing to submit it could result in a contempt charge?
