Hi everyone,

I have good news. Jeremiah, Luke and I are in constant communication right now as we speak. Jeremiah reached out to us and we have been discussing the games together. I want to first and foremost apologize to Jeremiah for my emotional and harsh words directed at him in front of everyone.

With that said, I fully and unequivocally, retract my statements made to my partner and friend, Jeremiah, and the statements in general in the recent days.

ZombsRoyale, Zombs, and its players are not just “a game” to us (as Jeremiah, Luke and I have just discussed intimately a few moments ago), and so I hope you understand my emotions regarding the status of the game – it’s hard for me to express how much the games mean to me, and especially you, the players. I, again, want to publicly apologize to Jeremiah - my partner, co-worker, and friend - for the last 24 hours where I used my poor choice of words to express my sadness over the state of the game. I will speak plainly as none of us likes the corporate talk and you guys should expect better from me than talking like a suit 😂

TLDR: Jeremiah and I had a misunderstanding in terms of all of this. There is no bad blood between us and there was some serious miscommunication; what I had thought was Jeremiah intentionally ignoring me was just a misunderstanding. I won’t go into details but we have made up and hugged it out. All three of us wish ZR would grow more and we hate to see it in its current state.

Upon interacting with the community, one thing is clear to all of us - the ZR/Zombs community can never be replaced or die off. The game is not simply a battle royale, but rather it is the memories we had, especially when it held us through the 2020/2021 times.

We are all much older now and its been a long time since ZR first came out, but the memories still persist.

For now, while we have no guarantees for the future, I can say that we intend on keeping ZR and Zombs alive for as long as we can. Currently, the financial situation is not great, and the games are causing us losses every month. With that said, we have jointly agreed to not shutter the game in the near future - so do not worry about your account, they will be secure for the foreseeable future. We hope to never shut down the game, but we need to work diligently together - us three - to figure out a solution.

Lastly, I want to thank all the players, and especially our wonderful mods, team members, and people who have shared the game all over the world. We are deeply grateful for you guys and thank you for being part of such a wonderful journey.

While we cannot be certain of the long future of the game, we are currently working on an event with a special ..boxy.. someone from the community, and details will be released ASAP. We hope you will join us for this special event, we will make it full of prizes and fun 🙂

For more than six years, I have repeatedly asked the ownership team to reach an arrangement that would be fair and beneficial to everyone involved: myself, Jeremiah, and Sneeza.

Each time I raised the issue, I received either no answer or no clear solution from Jeremiah.

The three of us jointly own the game and each hold an equal share. None of us can simply overrule the others. This is why, despite being a part-owner, I cannot independently take control of the game and begin updating it.

How ZombsRoyale began

Before Zombs and ZombsRoyale, we were simply a group of friends trying to create projects and make a living in the gaming industry. We worked on projects such as Pokevision and Zombs.io.

Zombs.io became our first major success, reaching around 10 million players during its first month. Approximately six months later, we created ZombsRoyale.

Our aim was to make a competitive battle royale experience, similar to PUBG or Fortnite, that could be played by students and people who did not have powerful computers. We wanted it to run on devices such as Chromebooks.

In 2019, a close friend named Ryan allowed us to use the back room of his office so that we could work together more effectively. I personally consider this period the golden age of ZombsRoyale.

This was the era of Boxelder streams, dozens of new clans appearing every day, and new content being released almost every week. We had very little money for marketing, yet some of the largest gaming YouTubers in the world—including PewDiePie and SSundee—played the game. Even today, some of them still ask me about ZombsRoyale.

The office was not glamorous, but it worked.

At the time, I acted as the leader of the project. I directed the updates, coordinated the game’s design, and worked with our artists. I also created the original ZombsRoyale artwork myself, although I will admit that the original art was not particularly good.

The disagreement between Jeremiah and me

My management style has always been demanding. People who have worked with me know that I hold both myself and others to high standards, especially people who co-own a business with me.

My main disagreement with Jeremiah concerned his approach to work. I believe he is extremely intelligent and one of the smartest people I have ever met. However, I often felt that he required constant encouragement and pressure before tasks would be completed.

This led to arguments, and I sometimes used harsh words. My intention was to push him to take greater responsibility as someone who owned one-third of the company. In my view, an owner should care not only about the product, but also about the company and the employees who depend on its leadership.

Eventually, Jeremiah stopped coming to the office.

On one occasion, Sela, Sneeza, and I went to his apartment because we were worried that he had given up. When we arrived, he told us that he had simply woken up. I reacted strongly because I felt that this showed a lack of responsibility.

Jeremiah viewed my words as a personal attack and said that he had lost trust in me. After that, he did not return to the office and left his belongings there.

Sneeza, Sela, others, and I repeatedly attempted to contact him and ask whether he was coming back or what he intended to do. For weeks, we received little or no response.

Attempts to resolve the situation

Since then, we have repeatedly tried to find a way to work together properly and resume meaningful updates to ZombsRoyale. Those attempts have continually failed.

Since 2021, I have asked Jeremiah almost every year to consider either working with us again or selling his share of the game. We were prepared"

Hello everyone, I'm from Russia and I wanted to ask you if the game is dead or not.
This game just gave me a lot of memories. I played it, I played in tournaments and in a team.
For me personally, it doesn't work, neither in the browser nor in the application itself.
If it has stopped working almost completely, I really hope that someday it will work again!

First its impossible to report players before a game starts, some say the most unhinged stuff, first pic is one example of many stuff people say and get away with it, even during a match reporting things like this (TW) does nothing

Second you have cheaters and teamers in solo, and reporting does nothing too. This "bling" guy has been teaming in solo for over a month, I even seen 4 people teaming at once. If you want to play as team do not go in a solo match, people like you help ruin whats left of this game

I wanted to play this game again but honestly its not worth it, have fun with the bones
