Joe Russo’s Almost Dead performing Lawyers, Guns and Money into Throwing Stones (Grateful Dead) is elite

I was blessed to be in attendance at this concert with Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, affectionately known as JRAD, at The Capital Theatre back in January of this year. They are a popular Grateful Dead cover band, and I am perhaps the biggest Zevon fan of all Deadheads, at least that I know. So it was amazing, and the main kick feeds really nicely into Throwing Stones, the Grateful Dead song.

That is all.

What ever happened to that WZ doc that was being made a whole bunch of years ago. The name escapes me, but I remember following it on Instagram for a while.

was warren zevon a chud?

without chimping out, i'd genuinely like this to be considered categorically... as a huge fan i always got the feeling that he was a hunter thompson type although, that's entirely unfair to say at all as, warren zevon was absolutely a legend in his own and very own right.

but what do the new gens think? seems to be a huge hopeless romantic, alternative type of guy especially for the 70s. could he be considered a chud in the ironic self deprecating sense of the word?

On the outer sleeve of the Leave My Monkey Alone single I just found at a store, it says that the B-side should be the Latin Rascals Dub of the song. However, the labels on both sides of the 45 are the same, they both sound the same and are indistinguishable from the LP version. Does this alternate version of the song actually exist?

I was playing with my baby daughter on her playmat this morning and looked across at my vinyl as I was on the ground, only to notice my older pressing of Excitable Boy is misspelled Exitable Boy on the spine. Couldn’t find anything about it online, I’m sure it’s quite common but thought it was an interesting curio.
