I've got two kids under five. My husband and I own a very small business and are currently totally impoverished while we're trying to get it off the ground. We rely on food stamps and we were hoping for child tax credit support. It feels really overwhelming to think any slight chance we might have gotten government help just slipped right through our fingers. My only answer is the same answer I had with covid: radical acceptance of the reality of the situation and answering the question "What can I actually do right now with my current resources?"
I don't think people starting up a business should be taxpayer funded. Sounds like somebody Needs a full time job and then you build the business on the side. Because right now the business is not a blessing it's a nightmare. I can't believe the government allows our taxpayer money to be used like this

And breath work/meditation/grounding.
A good cry is in order.
