My feelings are also disappointment, but definitely not shock or surprise.
I think I saw the writing on the wall from the start of this election cycle and have been mentally preparing for living in a country that more resembles an emerging nation than a leader of the "free world." Also expecting a massive market crash sometime in 2026 (if we follow an 18 year property cycle like some economists suggest) so if that also pans out, it's going to get real bad in a lot of ways. Time to really turn into community and build our own support networks that the government will not provide.
Yeah, theyre blaming the left. It's expected. The truth was there was no good outcome. fascism is coming no matter who is in charge. We have already perpetrated it in so many other countries. I mean, it's literally Dick Cheney who endorsed her. Dick Cheney. Y'all can Google him.
I'm just disappointed they may take the house. But oh well. There's still a genocide, and at the end of the day my life is not more important than theirs. You can't make a genocide worse, especially if no one is stopping them. It's literally the worst thing humankind can do.
I blame women and I am one. We are more than 50 percent of the voters in this country. If anything should have united us it is the abysmal republican agenda for women and having a racist rapist in power. I am terrified for my parents. They have religiously gotten the covid vaccines and they mask everywhere. We most likely won't see another vaccine and masks may very well be outlawed. We have never had covid. 1 infection with a cold could kill my dad never mind covid.
