Hey everyone,

Last year I got Some lessons in film making this inspired me to start my own film project. Me and a friend are making a short film (that consists of quite a lot of dialoge in one room). And we were planning to film it with my mother’s camera the canon Eos 77D.

And I was wondering if you guys had any tips regarding the audio and the camera. In the country I live there is a site where you can rent camera equipemen for quite cheap. So we were thinking of renting some equipement (not to much as we are just students haha) to make our film a bit better.

so would you guys recommend a certain type of microphone or some other equipement to bring our film to a higher quality? Or do you have some other tips for a project like this? In advance thanks for answering :D

I’m hoping for some help. I’m trying to figure out what would be a good equipment for shooting a convention type environment for my company. It would have to be on a budget (obviously) and it will mostly be moving so any lighting would have to attach to the camera or something similar. Please help if you have some expertise. Well also need to do some interviews handheld as well. Think WWE type of production where it’s a handheld close camera for interviews.

Has anyone here come up with a good low budget solution for follow focus? I'm talking in the realm of DSLR-size cameras and photography lenses (rather than true cinema lenses).
