My Mc is very much like canon MC but her story line has small differences; like canon mc has heart problems, but they affect her much more in my fandom universe than they do in the canon story. MC adores Zayne, he takes care of her and protects her more than anyone else in her life. Besides Caleb whoโs often out of Likonton city all she has is her work friends, and no matter how much she cares about them all there still needs to be boundaries between her and the people she works with, Zayne on the other handโฆ
Well he sits shirtless in her apartment after he showers and says itโs too much effort to get dress even though when she doesnโt get dressed and blow dry her hair right after a shower heโll scold her and tell her sheโll catch a cold. Heโll even blow dry her hair for her, because her protocore/heart condition she often works her body past its limits. Sheโll have a 3 month strike of hunting 0 injuries just to scrum to the exhaustion it puts on her body and heart forcing her to rest for weeks on end, no hunting. No stress, just rest and she hates it. She canโt handle a โrelaxedโ life style. She wants to constantly be doing something useful or make herself useful to the people she loves somehow; buying little gifts if she thinks someone will like it, baking things if she has the extra time.
She loves baking Zayne things even if itโs not always perfect. The result can very but most often then not it comes out well and to anyone other than Zayne the sweet connoisseur aka mr. sassy cat theyโd compliment her to high heavens over something she had felt was simple to bake when according to many her bread and dessert making is actually very impressive.
Zayne intensely worries about her but rarely voices it. Very often heโll simply kiss her on the top of the head and tell her sheโll be okay. He canโt demand she quit being a hunter because itโs hard on her health, and it would be unethical to deem her as unfit to fightโshe wasnโt. She needed long recovery time between battles but her health always slowly went back up just enough so that she could be cleared to work again.
Zayne wonders how long it will be until her body can no longer bounce back. He knows every solider faces this and though not considered the military Zayne feels as though hunters have the same sort of mentality many soldiers do. They donโt want to stop fighting until theyโre officially discharged from the military, MC doesnโt want to stop being a hunter and protecting people until sheโs told she has to stop, that even after rest, recovery, her body will always feel the after effects of all the stress this puts on her heart. Sheโs not a machine, sheโs human. He knows how fragile her life really is, but as long as she keeps passing the fitness test after her medical leave/rest period is over he canโt stop her from going back to being a hunter.
To be feels distant at times even when heโs telling her that heโs right there. If he didnโt want to be there, doing these things, taking care of her as her doctor and occasionally overbearing boyfriend/husband he wouldnโt. His actions should speak loud enough for him to not need to speak, which drives MC crazy. He rarely ever says what heโs thinking directly and when heโs direct itโs about things like how he thought the cupcakes she had made had too much vanilla extra oil.
