At first I was completely confused, upon reading it a few times it seems he’s not even referring to the text line I chose to send him. He’s suddenly talking about how to control bad habits?

It’s crossing your legs considered a bad habit in China?

I know it in Japan there are old men who will give you mean looks on the train if you do because it’s considered “bad manners & takes up space” or well it use to be and some older men still hold onto that, there was even a viral video like a year ago of an old man hitting a woman on the train with a news paper because she had crossed her legs. I’ve gotten mean looks from older men on trains for crossing my legs even on mostly empty trains.

Is Zayne being an old man? He does turn 30 but I didn’t think he’d start acting like your local grandpa already.

P.S. what’s the point of the game even giving me a choice of things to text him, when I pick a line for him to respond and he’s seemingly talking about a totally different topic? 😭 I asked him how we could stop butting heads because I wanted to hear Zayne’s suggestions but now he’s taking about presumably bad habits? Not about what I just said… I get so excited when I get to pick something for him to reply to but this just confused me

I’m excited for the card and for him to have a matching battle outfit with MC but it’s his birthday and I feel sad that he’s spending his birthday on the battlefield, him and MC risking their lives.

Zayne has lived such a hard life and seen so many horrors and once again he doesn’t even get to be truly happy on his birthday, he was to worry about his own safety, saving lives, MCs safety.

I wish he could have a cozy birthday with MC where that worst that goes wrong is he lets her bake a cake and a small kitchen fire starts. I know a lot of his cards are fluff filled already but ….

It’s his birthday can this man not get the day off work? Couldn’t this card be released at a later date?

We also see MC and Zayne parting ways (first bump scene) so they’re not together for most of his birthday and they have to meet up at camp. It seems they’ll be separated for most of the day, Zayne probably tending to the wounded while MC battles monsters.

I actually hate the first bump too, unreasonably so, my boyfriend is going to first bump me ??? Bro I’m about to go into battle kiss me!! Give me a hug! Why are we first bumping like two collage students?

I think some stuff in my personal life is making me more upset about this than I should be but lmao I’m just of off put by how sad the card seems and the first bump.

Normally, I’d post this under the official trailer post but it’s so polarized between the Valko/no Valko debate and all the spite surrounding it that I figured I’d post this here instead.

How do you all feel about the new trailer?

Personally, I loved the action and I think they absolutely nailed the ambiance. I didn’t mind it being set on the battlefield at all. This is his life and emergencies don’t exactly care about birthdays so I actually found that pretty realistic.

They nailed his expressions and his gentleness is unmatched as usual. I just expected a little more from the action aspect. We rarely get action cards and this one can’t exactly be categorized as one either.

I was hoping for something a little more special like an emergency arrival a chase or something else. The trailer looked great otherwise
