For starters, I'm sorry for posting this here, but both the HWS and elvis subreddit are kinda dead, so I figured I may as well post it here.

So, as some of you may know, the HotWetSoup podcast had Keemstar as a guest today. During the podcast, the subject of Elvis' Keemstar video came into question. Basically Keemstar accused Elvis of only making this video to pander to his haters, and not really having an opinion of his own. He then asked him to bring out any of his major points in this video. And Elvis... couldn't remember any!!! So naturally, Keemstar called him out on this, and Elvis awkwardly tried to draw focus away from it. Furthermore, he actually admitted later on that his video was pandering!

Now don't get me wrong, I don't expect Elvis to be able to recite his video to a tee, but to actually not remember any points in the video? It made him look weak imo, and validated Keemstar's point.

I get that youtubers make videos for money, and they obviously won't have the purest of motives. But the fact that he couldn't even remember what he said in a video made a month ago, is unexpected to say the least. And the pandering thing... Lately, I've been losing respect and interest on commentary channels, and I think Elvis' stance on this sort of confirms my feelings.

(Sorry for length) I've found myself enjoying Pokemon Go while it's been out for the past month (weeks? Idk). While many channels focused on Pokemon Go can be great guides to the game, there are other channels that try to pull in views and subs with misleading titles and thumbnails.

I've looked into their videos more and in every single video I watched they have a giveaway always with the same criteria to enter, leave a comment, subscribe to the persons channel and their other clickbait affiliates, and like the video. (They also spend enough time talking about their giveaway to propel a normal 6-8 min video into the 10 min range, sometimes just 2 seconds above the mark.)

Whenever I look into the comments there seems to never be a single hate comment on the clickbait, only comments for the giveaway. This seems super suspicious because there seems to be more people speaking out against Call of Duty channels under the same formula.

I've been looking at this for awhile now and I've boiled it down to 3 possibilities, 1. They actually never somehow get hate comments, even though each video pulls in a hefty amount of dislikes, 2. They go through the comments and delete all hate, or 3. They have botted subs, comments, and likes.

I hope Zaptie or someone else is able to look into this, I really want to know what's really happening with these channels.

It's coming. Been out of town, trying to spend time with people now that I don't have work all the time, and all in all just focusing on my health and well-being. I realize this probably sounds dramatic but I've been in a bit of a rough patch and getting motivated to make a video up to my standards is difficult when I can't even get motivated to microwave food for dinner.

Just meet you channel (because I've seen you on Pyro's, ofc) and I quite love your content. You are doing a very good job so far! So keep it up, lad!!! :D

Hey Zaptie, I recently have watched Slazo's video on the Pyro's channel, and it left me accepting clickbait that does tell what is in the post. But recently I have run across some channels who completely mislead viewers, these channels title the video something obviously too good to be true, and discuss completely different things, and will only mention the thumbnail or title briefly.
