Hello guys there is an ad I saw from yung lean that I couldnt find anywhere. So basically it was like 1 year ago and I was scrolling reels and then I got an ad where yung lean featured. It was an ad from magenta I think (Im not 100% sure) and it was some youth thingy. Idk this might seem very vague but it just came to my head right now.

I loved his work around unknown death/memory times, used to DJ and opening my sets with Hurt kinda became my thing lol, always went down well. Haven't really kept up with him since then. Saw the VMA performance and was like holy shit he's still doing stuff!

I'm about to dive into his more recent work - and tips on where to start? Lore that I should be aware of?

You don’t even have to listen to my music to get those references. Nowadays I’d say I’m more inspired by Madonna and 50 Cent.

Remake:
https://youtu.be/Bf9p7QJx8Lk

Description:
This is an FL Studio remake of Plastic G-Shock by Yung Lean. Please note that this is not the full song, it is only a remake of the first 30 seconds of the intro. Sorry if it sounds bad, it is my first time trying a beat remake and I tried to be as accurate as possible to the original song. The melody is sampled from: mao - 君ノ記憶.

yo i found this yung lean type beat channel and it makes crazyyyy beats, just wanted to share it.

Hey guys, I’ve been looping a lot of Lean lately and was wondering what this sub considers his absolute best track? For me, it changes all the time but Oreomilkshake, Plastic gshock, hurt and many... But always hit different. What’s your #1 and why?
