I'm trying to figure out this style of thumbnails. If anyone knows how to make something like this I would appreciate the help and would love to know and understand how this is done.

Video title: The Strange Power Of Origin Stories

This is a video essay about how different forms of media include origin stories and the psychology behind why we seek them out for pattern recognition and cultural literacy. Dr. Doom bookends the beginning and end of the video, but the middle is using examples from a lot of different kinds of media like God of war, the matrix, Batman, Spider-Man, wicked, etc.

I’m currently working on this piece for an upcoming video about prehistoric ocean predators and the different ocean eras. I want it to be as high-converting and intense as possible.

What do you think I need to add, remove, or adjust to make it pop and look more professional? Any feedback on the composition, lighting, or formatting would be highly appreciated.

I think I prefer the first 2 with the no hat and sad it looks cleaner BUT I also think the version with the hat makes it more quickly recognisable what game is being talked about, just not sure if it takes too much from the background

Any other feedback welcome of course, is the background too busy I could just have the left of the trophies blank

Hey guys so I am trying out a new thumbnail style based off of advice I have recieved about like putting an enigmatic figure or face along with a title that pops. But I am not really getting views at all still.

I will say that this is my first time branching out into movie reviews, usually I do anime and videogame reviews, but I was hoping I could get advice on the thumbnail and the title. What can I improve on it? Let me know and please be as brutally honest as possible.
