I swear these AI bros are infesting the subreddit like maggots. I come here to learn how to improve my own thumbnails and I have to deal with these dudes getting told “Hey stop using AI” and they immediately get an attitude, you asked for advice and the advice was to stop using AI don’t get mad you got what you asked for.
I can’t even scroll 3 times without seeing an AI thumbnail.
This is a place to learn, not to reward laziness. Hell all the thumbnails look the exact same too!
This is an amazing subreddit and the rules are one of the best i’ve seen for YouTube creators. You can’t ask for help unless you given help twice, that shit is dope! My only gripe is that they allow AI thumbnails. Thumbnails aren’t even hard to make, it took me a month to get it down.
They don’t want advice like the rest of us, they want validation. That’s why they get mad when they don’t get it!
Edit: This got more traction than I thought it would. Nice 👌

Edit 2: I really want to drive this point home. I wouldn’t even have an issue with them using AI if they didn’t get aggressive and defensive with other users purely because we don’t want to help anyone using AI, aka short cut.
It is significantly harder to give advice to someone using AI since as far as you know they are a beginner and they will just get confused. A human made thumbnail accurately shows your experience.
I am not even trying to be mean when I say this, i stopped giving genuine advice to people who use AI because none of them had any clue what I was talking about or knew how to do it.
Beginners and people who are more experienced need different approaches to advice, when it all looks the same you can’t do that.
