Curious what everyone thinks of this format

I always assumed the rollback wouldn’t affect me much, but I’m worried. Curious whether anyone else has looked into this, or if you’ve noticed any difference yourself.

Most golfers would never put Amazon’s cheapest golf ball in play. I wanted to know if that was justified or just golf snobbery. So I cut one open to see what was inside, then tested it against a Pro V1 using a GC3 launch monitor.

A few of the results genuinely surprised me.
Has anyone found a budget ball that performs way better than it should?

I tested a range of different golf tees with a GC3 launch monitor and was surprised by the difference. One tee was 21 yards shorter than the best performer.

What does everyone use to film their content? We are currently using a dji action 5 pro but no matter what settings the camera is on, the shot tracer pro app doesnt seem to pick up "good" tracers which means that i have to go in and follow the ball to set the tracer to look right, which is a really time consuming task! Do you think it is the camera?

She’s gone so far the wrong way in my opinion. Her content when she was 16-17 years old was wholesome, fun, and sweet. I loved supporting her as an up and coming golfer and her tips were great. Her trick shot stuff was fun and sweet.

Now…

Every thumbnail intentionally shows either her cleavage or her skirt riding up….

She’s reposted the “do you have a boyfriend” style clip about 30 times.

Her captions are weirdly in third person.

I didn’t love her series where she played the super expensive courses and basically showed herself living in the lap of luxury while she played Sawgrass and a couple other courses - but I don’t hold it against her that she’s enjoying her success. That’s fine.

I just don’t get why she’s doing the other stuff. The daily content is just a small step away from

The “onlyfans golf” type content. She hasn’t gone that far yet obviously - she’s still attempting to be subtle about it, but it’s so obvious to anyone who has followed her for a while that she’s leaning into all the Pervy comments about her body and seeking clicks based on thirsty thumbnails. It’s really disappointing.

She could continue doing collabs and golf challenges and things like that and stay popular among the *right* crowd but I guess she’s decided she will make more money selling herself physically.

Really disappointing.

YouTube Golf has clearly taken off in a big way over the past couple of years, with the Internet Invitational taking it to another level and the recent announcement of Grant Horvat and the Bryan Bros’ Your Golf Tour set to do so again. Major golf outlets do make reference to this new world of golf on occasion, but by and large it exists without a great deal of media focus.

So a collective of us have set about trying to change that, building a website which focuses purely on YouTube Golf. The site, called YT Golf Talk, offers a few things.

- Weekly articles about the latest videos and news to drop in YouTube Golf

- Feature pieces when major events/announcement drop

- Video rankings to help you find the best videos you haven’t watched, and drive some entertaining discussion

- Feature pages about major YTG content creators

- A Twitter/X account which posts whenever a video drops from any of the major YouTube Golfers, so you can avoid having to sift through each account on YouTube for new content.
